The analysis of the teaching contentsThe topic of this unit is“My clothes”.Such a topic is related to our daily life, so it is helpful to raise the students learning interests.Students will learn the new words“hat”and the new patterns:“Are these yours/sbs?-Yes,they are./No,they arent.”and“Is this yours/sbs? -Yes,it is./No,it isnt.”II. The analysis of the studentsThe students of Grade4 are active in class, and they are very familiar with the topic .They like to display themselves.And also they have taken a great interests in English now.III.Teaching aims1. Knowledge aims:a. To enable the students to understand and say the new words: hat, shoes.b. To make the students know how to ask and answer using the new patterns:“Are these yours/sbs?-Yes,they are./No,they arent.”and“Is this yours/sbs? -Yes,it is./No,it isnt.”2. Ability aims:a. To develop the students abilities of communication by learning the useful words and structures.b. To train the students ability of working in pairs.3. Emotional aims:a. To develop the students consciousness of cooperation.b. Students will love to learn English and share the personal information with others.IV.Teaching key points1. Enable students to understand and use the new words.2. Enable students to understand how to use the patterns for communication.V.Teaching difficult points1. Use the sentences in proper situations.2. Show the pictures of hat, shoes and students learn to say the new words:“hat,shoes”. 设计意图:通过简笔画吸引学生的学习兴趣,轻松的学习了新单词。2.Show the patterns:-Are these yours? Yes,they are./No,they arent.They are Chen Jies.-Is this Johns? Yes,it is./No,it isnt.It is Mikes.Step3. Practice1. Guessing game:There many pictures in the bag.At the back of the picture ,there is the name.Then,ask one student to choose one.Next, the teacher asks: “Are these is yours?”or “Is this Johns?”.Students will answer according to the name.Then match the picture and the name. 设计意图:把物品图片放在袋子里,让学生充满好奇感,充分激发了学生学习英语的学习兴趣,巩固了这节课的重点句型,使英语教学变得生动、有趣、活泼。Step4. Consolidation and Extension:Spin wheels game:There different names on the wheel.Students spin the wheel. Ask the student “Are these is yours?”.If it points to the “Yes”,they can answer “Yes,they are.”If it points to the “Mikes”, they can answer “No,they arent.They are Mikes.” 设计意图:通过转盘游戏,使学生不知不觉的掌握了所学的知识,灵活的处理了教材内容与游戏活动的关系,把静态的书本知识活化为生动的游戏活动,充分体现了课堂上以教师为主导,学生为主体的教学原则,同时也调动了学生学习的积极性。IX.
