Unit 3 Where did you go? 1.教学内容Part A Lets learn & Listen, answer and write2.学情分析本节课的授课对象是已学习了三年半英语的六年级学生,他们的词汇量将达到二级水平,并有一定的自学能力。3.内容分析本单元是PEP小学英语教科书六年级下册教材第三单元,围绕Where did you go? 即你去了哪里和做了什么这个话题展开,去过哪里和做了什么这些话题是学生在实际生活中使用较广的。根据学生知识和生活实际,把Lets learn & Listen, answer and write定为本单元的第二课时。这两部分的学习是在学生已经掌握了一些关于地点和行为动作的词汇,如forest park, ride a bike, go fishing, hurt a foot,以及第一课时已接触了过去时态的句子等的基础上进行的,重点是通过Where did you go? What did you do? 交际语言,使学生能听、说、读、写五个动词过去式短语。4.教学目标1)知识目标:(1)能够听说读写单词及词组:rode, rode a horse, rode a bike, went, went camping, hurt, hurt my foot and went fishing.(2)能听说认读句子:Where did you go last Saturday? I went to a forest park. What did you do there? I rode a bike.2)能力目标: 通过语言学习以及多形式的交际活动,能够掌握A部分的词汇和主要句型,并运用其和别人谈论自己去过哪儿及做过什么,形成良好的语言交际能力。3情感态度目标: 通过本课学习,培养学生主动用英语交际的习惯。4学习策略目标: 能够在情境中进行真实交际,并通过合作式预习、学习,逐步实现自主学习。5.重点难点(1)学习五个短语,注意ride, go, hurt的过去式。(2)学生能用句型进行简单的对话。6.教学准备多媒体课件、配套教学光盘、课堂练习纸等。7.教学过程Step1Warm up 1. Play a game: “打地鼠”. Ss try to read the words(past tense)as quickly as possible. (saw , slept , stayed , drank , was , talked , watched ) 2. Play a chain game. Look at the pictures about Unit 2. e.g. Show the picture “watch TV.” T: watch Group 1: watched Group 2: watched TV Group 3: I watched TV. Group 4: I watched TV last Saturday.(设计意图:通过课前的两个游戏,既能快速地把学生的课间注意力集中到课堂,而且以有趣的竞赛活动,巧妙复习了与本节课有关的词汇和句子,为新课作好铺垫。)Step2Lead in 1. Show the title of Unit 3 T: Amy went to the cinema. Where did you go last weekend? 2. Tell us where you went last weekend and what you did there. (设计意图:延续第二个游戏自然引出本课题目,也是本课的主要句子:Where did you go?)Step3Presentation1. Teacher shows PPT and tell the students about Zhanjiang . When the teacher shows the picture of Zhanjiang Forest Park ,the teacher says,”This is Zhanjiang Porest Park. In the forest park ,we often go fishing/go camping /ride a horse/ride a bike . Teach the phrases “go fishing/go camping /ride a horse/ride a bike (设计意图:以本地为蓝本,创设另一个情境。既介绍当地旅游景点,引出本节课要学习短语的动词原形,又培养了学生热爱家乡的情怀。)2. After reading the phrases,the teacher shows the picture of Zhanjiang Forest Park again and says,”Last Saturday ,I went to Zhanjiang Forest Park.” Teach :”go -went” and then teach :”went fishing - go fishing ;went camping - go camping”.(设计意图:在同一个地方,由经常做的事情马上转入上周六做的事情,很自然引入本节课要教的动词过去式短语)3.用“went+动词ing”结构的短语补充对话完整。A:What did he/she do yesterday ?B:He/She _.(went fishing , went swimming , went shopping , went hiking)(设计意图:通过举一反三,巩固went camping 和went fishing。)4. The teacher continues to say,”I also rode a bike and rode a horse.I was so happy. “Teach :”rode a bike - ride a bike ; rode a horse - ride a horse”. The teacher continues to say,”Suddenly,I hurt my foot.I was so sad.”Teach : “ hurt-hurt”(注:原行和过去式写法读法都一样)Teach:“hurt my foot -hurt my foot”. 举一反三:“hurt my head ; hurt my hand ; hurt my arm”(设计意图:通过很自然地描述,把本课的短语全都一一呈现,学生也很自然地跟着学习并掌握。)5. Ideological educationT: Zhanjiang is a tourist city . We live in Zhanjiang . But we must keep it beautiful. Lets be the A-class tourists. Dont do it like this.(PPT)(设计意图:针对当前一些旅游景点出现的不文明现象,倡议“人人争当文明游客,创建文明城市”,适时教育学生争当A级游客。)6. Listen to the content of Lets learn on P25 and read it after the tape.(设计意图:检查了小组合作预习的效果,也是自学方法的指导。Step4Practice1. Read the new phrases. Guess and play bomb games.(设计意图:创设一个地雷游戏,让学生自主积极地读单词,代替枯燥的做法。)2. Sum-up Time(1) Read the following words in groups of 4. Rode, horse ,camping fishing ,hurt ,went(2) Summarize the past forms of verbs in this lesson.ride _rode_ go_went_ hurt_hurt_do _did_ see _saw_ read _read_(设计意图:动词原形变过去式是英语学习中的重难点,学生往往对自己积极思考后总结的知识印象深刻,在学习中容易形成一种自豪感,自主学习意识被唤醒,语言和情感同时得到了提升。而且这几个单词的过去式都是特殊变化,更要牢牢记住,此外还要拓展一些符合一般变法的规律。)3. Let chant together.Where did you go?Where did you go?I went to a forest park.I went to a forest parkWhat did you do? What did you do?I rode a bike. I rode a bike. 4. Teacher asks two questions. Students listen to the dialogue of P25 and answer two questions.(1) Where did John go last Saturday?(2) What did he do there?Step5ConsolidationExtension1. Talking 1: Choose and make a new dialogue.T: Look. They are talking. But they are far from here. I cant hear. Please look at the tips and help them talk again. Choose one of them and make a new dialogue.Example:A: Where did you go last Saturday?B: I went to a forest park.A: What did you do?B: I rode a horse.(设计意图:创设帮助朋友再现对话的活动,激发学生自主创编对话,又使学生所学知识不拘泥于课本,实现了英语学习的真正目的。)2.Talking 2: Talk about your weekend with your partners.A: Hello. How was your weekend?B: It was A: Where did you go last weekend?B: I went toA: What did you do?B: IA: Thank you.3. Listening: Finish the exercises of Listen, answer and write on P25.T: Carl, Meimei and Mr Guo are good friends. They are talking something about yesterday.Task A:Listen and answer three questions.What did Carl do yesterday?What did Meimei do yesterday?What did Mr Guo do yesterday?Task B: Listen again and write the answers.4. Reading: Read and judge.T: John is their friend, too. He wrote a passage about his holiday. Please read and write T or F.Hello, Im John. I am twelve years old. I have a lot of friends in Zhanjiang.
