Unit3 Could you please clean your room?教学设计单元教材分析: 本单元是新目标八年级下册第三单元Section A 部分。话题为“chores and permission”家务活和许可。教学内容贴近学生生活,学生有一定学习兴趣。本单元的语言目标是学会提出礼貌请求以及寻求对方许可(make polite requests and ask for permission)。教学目标(Teaching Aims)一、语言知识目标 (Knowledge Aims)重点词汇(vocabulary):rubbish, fold ,sweep, floor, mess有用词组(phrases):take out the rubbish do the dishessweep the floor fold the clothes make the bedclean the living room重点句型(structure of sentence)-Mary, could you please sweep the floor?-Yes, sure.- Could you please do the dishes, Tom? Im going to clean the living room.- No problem.- Could I use the computer?- Sorry. Im going to work on it.- Could I watch TV?- Yes, you can. but first you have to finish your homework.二、语言能力目标(Ability aims)1. 学会如何做出礼貌且得体的请求;2、学会针对礼貌请求给予恰当应答;3、培养学生语言综合运用能力,本课时侧重听说技能的提高三、情感目标(Emotion aims)培养学生合作意识、劳动意识,帮助学生学会关心他人,感恩父母教学过程:Teaching processTask One What kinds of chores do you usually do ?Step One Revision1. Greetings.Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to see you again. How are you today?Whats the weather like today?2. Ask students what hobbies do they have and what and where they could volunteer.I like playing basketball, so I could teach kid how to play basketball. (设计这一环节复习第二单元内容)Step2 Presentation1. Boys and girls, I want to know who usually cooks meals for you. Collects some different answers from the students.( Maybe the teacher uses You parents are busy and tired. We could do something to help them.)2. Ask students: What housework do you usually do on weekends or in your free tome?Get lots of answers like cleaning the house, doing the dishes , washing clothes and so on.3. Teach new words and phrases by showing some pictures on the screen.Sweep the floor , take out of rubbish4. Practice in pairs.-Do you sweep the floor?-Yes, sure. I often do it on weekends. What about you?- I often help my mother do the dishes.5. Finish 1b. ( The teacher may use some instructions. For example, lets check the answers together.)Task Two Make polite requests and ask for permissionStep 3 Presentation The teacher shows the polite way to make requests. Ask students to compare two ways of requests.Peter, sweep the floor!Could you please sweep the floor,Peter?Then give the permission to the students. Yes, sure. No problem.If you cant, you can say Sorry, Im going to . Or I have to Practice with different studentsStep 4. practice in groups Show a model on the screen .A: Could you please clean the living the room, Tony?B: Yes, sure. Could you please do the dishes, Tom?C: Sorry, Im going to meet my friend later.B; Could you do the dishes, Linda?D. No problem.Then ask students to practice in groups of four. Invite several groups to show their conversations.( 教师评价时要使用鼓励语言。 You did a good job. Youve made great progress. Youll do better next time.以及 Dont be afraid. I can give you a hand when you have difficulties.)Step5 Finish 2a and 2b1. Teach new phrases get a ride2. Ask some students to read the four things that Peter wants to do.3. Finish 2a and 2b. (教师使用指令语尽量简单易懂,如 Peter wants to do four things. What does Peters father say about them. Now, listen carefully and then check yes or no. Listen again.必要时教师可使用gestures.)Step6 Make their own conversations Today its Sunday . Hellen s friends are coming over. She wants his mother to do something for her. (buy some fruits and drinks , cook dinner for them) But she is going to do sports/ in the afternoon. She cant go shopping for her. She will come back at five. She can cook dinner.)Get students to practice in pairs. Then ask a few pairs to act it out.They can begin like this:- Mom!-Yes?- My friends are coming over in the afternoon. We need some fruits and drinks. Could?SummaryHomeworkRead the conversation for your parents.Copy the words and phrases twice.Write down the conversation above in your notebook.Unit3 Could you please clean your room? 教学反思 众所周知当学生进入八年级以后,随着年龄的增长他们在英语课堂上越来越不愿动口学说英语,对英语的兴趣感也日益下降;再加上学生在英语学习上的两级分化进一步加大,所以要上好一堂英语课也越来越不容易。基于以上情况,我想结合自己在本学期上的一堂八年级的英语课,谈一谈自己在教学中的得与失。 我所上的教材是人教版新目标英语八年级下册Unit3 Could you please clean your room? 的Section A 1a-1c部分。本单元以Could you please clean your room?为中心话题,围绕着描述家庭成员间的日常事物展开,学习和运用交际用语Could you please?让学生学会谈论和分享家庭家务事。教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流。在学习活动中,学生通过交换对家务事情的描述及看法,促进学生与家庭成员之间的感情。本课是第一课时,主要学习内容是:家务方面的单词和短语以及用Could you please ?向别人礼貌地提出请求。 本节课从整体上来说自己感觉是比较成功的一堂课,为了能更好地提高自己的授课水平,我将这节课的成功和不足之处做一详细分析: 一、较为成功之处: 1、对于这节课的重点练得较透彻。 这节课的重点是句型“Could you please ? Could I?”两个句型及其回答。这节课通过“先学后教,当堂训练”的形式,通过学生课前掌握本课的重要短语及词汇以后,才有针对性地操练了句型“Could you please ?”通过在课堂上设置学生利用本节课所学习的重要词汇进行句型“Could you please ?”的造句训练,达到进一步巩固这个句型的目的。通过在课堂上设置学生运用这个句型以小组活动的形式编对话,充分地练习了“Could I please?”这个句型,而且我所设置的这两个小组活动正是反映了2c这个对话,这样把两个小组活动合并起来练习就自然地练习了2c部分。这样的训练既保证了足够的训练量,又保证了训练的强度和质量。 二、不足之处: 1.课堂教学指令应当力求简单、精炼、易懂、帮助学生理解。 2.对学生的评价应该更多样化:Good job! Great! Well done! Perfect
