To inspire pupils ability of thought、imagination、innovation and cooperation by developing their basic skill of listening、speaking、reading and writing.Teaching Aims:1、pupils can use English to communicate with others when doing task by learning the language focus: “How manyare there?” “These are.”2、Teaching material and interesting teaching activities are used to arouse pupils interest and enthusiasm by.3、contact English with other subjects and extend the knowledge of English from class into the pupils daily life. Learning analysis: The pupils in grade two can listen and speak the easy English. Theyre interested in singing、chanting and playing a game especially. Teaching approaches:直观性教学and任务型教学 are to be used in the course of this lesson.1、provide pictures and multimedia materials to let pupils mime and handle.2、extend the knowledge of English from class into the pupils daily life by activities in the classroom.Teaching Aids: 1、picture 2、multimedia computer 3、Games aid. Teaching Procedure:Step1.Warming-up and lead-in Activity1: sing a song. Little teacher lead pupils sing. Goal: To arouse their interest and learning mood. Activity2: Gesture to pupils to count things in classroom. Ask the pupils to answer “These are.” Goal: To lead up to the topic and new words.Step2: Pre-task stage.Activity1: Show pupils a pencil case and Tell them there are many rabbits .Revise number1to number10 and present number eleven to number twenty by showing them the picture.Activity2: play a game “loudness and undertone” Goal: To provide teachers exaggerated pronunciation. Ask the pupils to mime.Activity3: play a game “choose your lucky number.” Ask the pupils to echo. Goal: To arouse their interest and remember the new words quickly.Activity4: group work to play this game.Activity5: Assess group competition and Ask the pupils to answer me “How many pencil are there in group1.” Goal: To provide quality feedback to pupils and sharing learning intentions and success criteria with pupils.
