Language skills: students able to use proper pronunciation to give and ask for information with simple past tense under familiar topic like weekend activities.2. Language knowledge: students are able to describe their weekend activities with following new-learned phrases and sentences: camped by the lake, go to the beach, studied for a test, fed cows, went to the beach, stayed up late and etc, with key sentences in this unit like: How was your weekend? Did you have a good weekend? Where did you go? Who did you visit and so on.3. Affects, culture, strategies: students are able to guess before listening. Students are able to cultivate their sense of cooperation and foreign culture in Group Cooperative Learning. Through TBLT , students can learn English in an competitive way which is close to their life, thus greatly improve their interest in English.2学情分析 Vital, competitive and average students are willing to learn new things with comprehensible input. Also, appropriate cooperation and competition are attractive for them.Students might have difficulties in pronunciation the past tense of vocabulary like camped and fed. When they talk in past tense by themselves, they are likely to forget to change the performance of the verbs since its different from their mother language Chinese. They might be unfamiliar with the background of 2d and be shy to role play this conversation.3重点难点 Students are able to describe their weekend activities with following new-learned phrases and sentences: camped by the lake, go to the beach, studied for a test, fed cows, went to the beach, stayed up late and etc, with key sentences in this unit like: How was your weekend? Did you have a good weekend? Where did you go? Who did you visit and so on.4教学过程 4.1 第一学时 4.1.1教学活动 活动1【导入】Warmingup 五Four steps,time allocationActivitiesJustificationStep 1 (3)Warming upFirstly, T shows Ss her activities in last weekend through Wechat.1. Arose different genders interest.2. Prepare Ss for following tape.Step 2 (18) Presentation and practice of listening micro skills1. Ss finish 1a in 30 seconds.2. Demonstrate skills before listening: first, go through the questions before listening and predict the answers with tips given in the pictures.3. T checks the answers before asking Ss to repeat the listening materials with pictures.4. Ss finish 2a and 2b in a little different way. Later, T asks Ss to use “wh-” words to make sentences and answer in one minute to play a game.1. Prepare students for the following practice;2. Use Ss curiosity during finishing 1b.3. T provides changes for Ss to retell the key phrases and sentences.4 4. T reminds Ss interest and put teaching objects into practice.5 T also uses TBLT to encourage Ss to compete and cooperate with each other.Step 3 (13) consolidate key pointsT shows Ss a video related to the background of 2d after asking Ss a question: “What did Lisa do last weekend?”T gives Ss time to read 2d by themselves.Ss role play the conversation.1.
