Inductive method is used as the main approach for this lesson. Instead of introducing the focus of the lesson at the beginning of the class, students will work on the activities an the main concept will be presented at last. At the end of the lesson, teacher can check how well the students have learnt according to the filling blank exercises.Students participation is the key element of this lesson as it keeps the students actively involved among their friends. Meanwhile, the teacher plays an important role in scaffolding the students.二、教学背景分析教学内容分析:五年级的学生已经进入写作阶段,但在描述物品时因为对多种形容词的排列位置不了解,因此不能十分准确地描述物品。因此拓展北京外语大学出版社朗文新派少儿英语2B Unit 8的内容,本课以Adjective为主题,借动物为载体掌握多个形容词的排序。通过教材的内容整合,为学生的写作打下基础。本节课的语言结构学习内容是It has + NO.+ size + color + n. 大部分学生掌握了动物名称,颜色,数字和大小的形容词,为本节课的活动教学提供条件。 本节课我们主要学习如何使用形容词以及句型Its It has 描述动物的外形,学生将在教师的启发诱导下,用已有的信息来滚动学习动物的身体部位、局部特征等,同时打开学生的思维,拓展学生描述动物的途径,最后迁移到描述人物(小丑)的特征。为后面的写作教学做铺垫。 三、教学目标At the end of the lesson, students are able to :1. Identify the series of adjectives and orders of adjectives.2. Describe the given pictures with adjectives correctly.3. Emotion education: realize the important of teamwork.四、教学重难点教学重点:Understand the orders of adjectives教学难点:Be able to describe the picture correctly and fluently.五、学习者特征分析Students are in Grade Five. They have learnt the words of animals, colors, size and number. But they dont know how to put them in order in a sentence. Its not good for their composition. In this class, students learn the rules from some activities which work as a booster to help the students in learning the orders of adjectives without them realizing the process of it.
