Lead-in: First let students listen an English song “If you are happy” to raise their interests. Next use one questions to lead in.If you are happy, what will you do?If I am happy, I will (Sing, dance)II. Lets play a game Show the students some pictures with a part hidden, and ask the students:If he/she is happy, what will he/she do?III. Lets watch and match1a Show them a picture of Christmas to lead in the subject: party. Go on asking: Would you like to go to the party?Present the pictures, introduce key vocabulary and provide reading practice using the target language. Point out the four pictures and ask students to tell what they see. Ask two students to read the conversation in the speech bubbles in the first pictures. Match the statements with the responses.IV. Lets listen1b This activity provides listening practice using the key vocabulary in la. 1b asks students to check whether they do 1a correctly. V. Lets work in pairs1c This activity provides guided speaking and listening practice using the target language. Read the instructions to the class. Point out the picture in activity 1a. Ask two students to read the sample dialogue in activity 1c.Ask some pairs of students to present their conversations to the class. Learn “If structure” Introduce “If structure” to the students and let students do some practice. Use the correct verb to fill the blanks. VII. Lets make a survey-group work What will you do if you have lots of money? Let the students to ask their group members this question and write it down.
