What kind of noodles would you like?Id like beef and tomato noodles, please.Difficulties (教学难点)1. 新单词的拼写,区分可数名词与不可数名词。2. 点餐的基本句型。Teaching steps (教学步骤)1. Lead in(导入)T:Weve learned many words about fruit and vegetables. I will Invite some of the students to speak those words.Ss: Apples, bananas, oranges, pears, strawberries, tomatoes, carrots . Ss: Milk, eggs, rice, chicken, burger, bread, ice-cream 2. Presentation (呈现新知识) Let the students look at the pictures in the PPT. Present the new words at the board: mutton, beef, noodles, chicken, carrot, potato, tomato. 3.Word GameT: You have known many kinds of food. Lets play a word game. I will show them in the PPT, and you try to guess what they are. If you know the answer, please stand up and tell the class what it is.4.Pair workA: What would you like?B: Id like someLet students make their own conversations.Go around the classroom and help Ss when necessary. Have some pairs present their conversations to the class.After that, let students finish 1a in the notebook. 5. listening practice(1)T: Are you hungry? Lets go to a restaurant. (4) Teach the students read the conversation.6. Pairwork(1) Work on 1c. Let Ss make conversations like this: S1: What kind of noodles would you like? S2: Id like beef noodles, please.Have some pairs to present their conversations to the class. Make sure they change the words used.7.Language points1). I d like some noodles. 我想要面条。(1)含义:would like意为“愿意; 喜欢”, 表示意愿, 后接名词作宾语, 相当于want, 但语气较委婉。would是情态动词, 没有人称和数的变化, 常简写为“d”。(2)用法:A:would like sth. 想要某物。 例如: I would like beef noodles. 我想要牛肉面。B:would like to do sth. 想做某事。 例如: My friends would like to visit you.我朋友想去拜访你。C:would like sb. to do sth. 想让某人做某事。 例如: Her parents would like her to learn music.她的父母想让她学音乐。(3)Would you like. . . ? 句型的答语: 肯定回答常用Yes, please. /OK. /All right. ; 否定回答常用No, thanks. 在回答Would you like to do sth. ? 时, 肯定回答常用Yes/Sure, Id like/love to; 否定回答常用Id like/love to, but. . . 。2)tomato 和其他以 o 结尾的名词的复数。以 o 结尾的名词复数有的要加 es, 有的要加 s, 一般来说无生命的名词变复数时加 -s, 有生命则加 -es, 同学们不妨记住下面这句话: 黑人 (Negro) 英雄 (hero) 爱吃土豆(potato) 西红柿 (tomato), 全部加 es。3). yet的同义词still的用法still表示“某事尚在进行中”, 常用于肯定句中, 也可用在疑问句或否定句中, 在否定句中须放在否定词not之前。 例如: The door is still closed. 门仍然关着。 Is Tom still in No. 4 Middle School? 汤姆还在第四中学吗? 4). Id like chicken, potato and cabbage noodles. 我想要鸡肉土豆卷心菜面。 【自主领悟】句中名词chicken/potato/cabbage均作noodles的定语, 其中potato, cabbage是可数名词, 由此可见可数名词作定语一般用单数形式。注意:可数名词作定语一般用单数, 但man/woman除外, man/woman要与后面的名词在数上保持一致, 如a man/ woman teacher; two men/women teachers。8.Summary1.
