Unit 10 Id like some noodles. Section A (1a-1c) 江峡一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词: noodle, mutton, beef, cabbage, potato, special, would, would like, order, 能掌握以下句型: What would you like? What kind of noodles would you like ? Im not sure yet. Are there any vegetables in the beef noodles? 2) 能了解以下语法:情态动词would的用法;3)能掌握订餐或叫外卖等的用语。2. 情感态度价值观目标:体会学习英语的乐趣,做到“在用中学”“在学中用”。养成一个良好的饮食习惯,享受生活。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 学习掌握本课时的重点词组及表达方式。2) 引导学生们做听、说的训练。2. 教学难点:通过role-play的方式掌握如何订餐等用语。三、教学过程. Warming-up and lead- in 1. Show a short video , Let students watch and answer.1) What can we see in the video? 2)Whats in the noodles?.New Word Presentation1. (Show some pictures of food on the big screen) Present some new words and expressions to the Ss.2. Ss learn the new words and expressions by themselves and try to remember them. (noodles, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots ,mutton, beef, cabbage, chicken)3.Game 1: Quick EyesIn this part, students try to read the food words according to the picture that appears on the screen .Who can read them as quickly as possible. Senence Presentation1. Practice the target language: Would you like some noodles? Yes, please./No,thanks. What would you like? Id like some noodles. What kind of noodles would you like? Id like tomato beef noodles. Practice the target language in different ways. Teach “Specials”Show pictures of food, talk about three kinds of specials and teach “What kind of noodles would you like?”Practice “What?” and practice different subjects( he, she, they ).V. Game 2“Memory Challenge”Talk about “What kind of noodles would the stars like ?” Show different “Specials” quickly, and let students guess what kind of noodles he/she/they would like? VI. Listening T: In the following conversation, one man is ordering some food. Now, lets listen to the tape, find out the right noodles the person orders. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and check the answer. II. Pair work 1. Present the conversation in 1b on the big screen and ask Ss to practice it.2. Make their own conversations using the noodles in the picture.3. Let some pairs act out their conversations. VIII. Game 3 “Who is the luckiest ?” T: Wlcome to Lucky Noodle House! We have different kinds of noodles. Come and order what you like. The person who order the noodles can move the board, if the sign points the noodles that he orders, he is lucky. Finally, he can enjoy the noodles he likes.Give students five minutes to prepare. Then choose two students, come to the front to show their own conversations .Order “What kind of noodles ?” IX.
