Then gets Ss to answer one by one, or practice in pairs.3. Listen to Part 1 and sing the song after the recorder for several times, then gets Ss to put a blue circle around the things that Linda likes and a red circle around the things that Terry likes. T gets several Ss to give the answers. Check the answers together. Step 4: Homework.1. Listen to the tape and sing the song .2. Write the key words.Teaching contents:Part 2Teaching Aims: Sing Part 1 song freely and write out the names of the characters under the pictures.Step1: RevisionT asks questions about Part1. Whats the girls name?What does she like?Sing the song together in roles in group.Step2: PresentionListen to Part 2 carefully. After listening to Character 1.Tasks: Whats her name? What does she like? What has she got? Gets Ss to answer these questions one by one. Give an easy answer on the book. Finish Character 2、3 on the same way.Step 4: Gets S to write five sentences about her or his best friends on the class. Then T choose several examples to class.Gets them to answer questions.Part 3Aims: Ss can understand the text and can answer the questions.Step1: T tells about Ss in the photo with the pupils. All the children come from Britain and they all like playing and making new friends.Step2: Let the pupils to read the texts for several minutes.Step3: T asks questions about the text : Whats his/her name? What does he/she like? When is his/her birthday?.Gets pupils to answer the questions one by one.Step 4: T explains some hard points carefully . Check the answers together.Part 4:Aims: Learn to use new word “best” skillfully.Step 1: T can show pictures or real objects to teach new word “best”. My best friend,best book,best carStep2: Listen to the story. When the story plays in half,T stops the tape.Then gets pupils to guess the different endings of the story.Step 3: After analyzing the different endings of the story, then go on playing the story, gets Ss to read after the story and play the story in roles.Step4: T covers the words and photocopy the story , then asks Ss to repeat the dialogue in groups.Step 5: Gets Ss to underline some useful pattern drills: Can you come to? Are you all right? Whats the matter?Part 5:Aims: Can finish exercise 5、6、7、8 skillfully. Step 1: part 5: Gets several Ss to talk about their best friends with the key words and sentences on part 5.Then gets Ss to fill in the blanks.Step 2 : part 6 Read Johns text. Ss write out the English words and then draw a picture of Johns friend. T gets Ss to give out the answers one by one . Check the answers together .Step 3 : part 7Ask Ss to work in pairs to put the jigsaw puzzle together and when they have finished ,asks them how they did it.Step 4: part 8Ss fill in the blanks. Then draw and colour. Some pupils give answers. Check together.Part 6:Aims: Can finish Exercise 9、10、11、12 skillfully.Step 1: part9Gets some Ss to say out Tobys best friend Diana or gets Ss to write out Tobys best friend Diana.Step 2: part 10All the Ss join in groups.
