Words: book, magazine, toy bear, toy lion, bread maker, sweater, dress, hat, scarf, board games, sweet, memory, yard sale2. Phrases: have a yard sale, its hard to do, bring back, sweet memories, give away to do, in need, a couple of, a bit old, check out, one last thing, thanks so much3. Sentences:How long have you had that bike over there?Ive had it for three years.Ability Aims: The students can talk about possessions and things around them.过程与方法:采用PPT-pictures、Playing game、Exercise的方式,进行单词教学;利用Pairwork to practice 、Listening and speaking 、Exercise的形式,进行目标语言教学。情感态度价值观:1. Improve the cooperative spirit through pair work and role playing.2. The students can treasure what they have got.教学重点Key words and phrases.教学难点. The students can talk about possessions and things around them.教具准备 A tape recorder, a computer, blackboard and an English book.教学方法Task-based language teaching method, the cooperative learning method. 教 学 过 程教师活动学生活动个性思考 . Step 1 Warming upLet the students sing an English song.Step 2 Checking the words1.Ask the students to read and say some words by showing the pictures.2.Encourage the students to write down the words according to the pictures.3. Work on 1a.Look at the picture and talk about if they have any of these things at home and how long they have had.Step 3 Presentation and Practice1.Present the conversation:A: Do you have a bike?B: Yes, I do.A: How long have you had it?B: Ive had it for three years. 2.Get the students to practice the conversations.Step 4 Listening (1b)1. Get the students to discuss the picture.2. Let the students listen to the tape and answer the questions: Whats the relationship between Amy and Jeff? What things did Amy ask about?3. Listen again and check the facts they hear.Step 5 Presentation and Practice (1c)1. Get the students to read the conversation.2. Let Ss make conversations about other things in the picture in pairs.Step 6 Listening (2a, 2b)1. Get the students to discuss the picture.Do you have ?How long have you had it?Which one will you give away? Why?Which one will you keep? Why?2. Get the students to listen to the tape and check the things Amys family are giving away and circle the things they are keeping.3. Listen again and fill in the blanks.4. Check the answers.Step 7 Practice (2c) Get the students to read the conversation in pairs, then make new conversations.Step 8 Role-play the conversation1. Show the students some questions: Who is Linda? Who is Amy? What does she want to do? What things has Amy brought? How long has Amy or her mom had them?2.Read the conversation and check the answers.3. Play the tape for the students to listen and imitate.4.
