Hes really tall.B) What does she look like? She has long straight hair.C) Is he tall or short? He isnt tall or short .Hes of medium height.2. 能运用目标语言进行口头和笔头练习。3. 情感目标:学习让学生学会友好、客观地描述人的形象。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:学习掌握重点单词handsome;掌握并正确运用询问和描述人物外貌的句型及相应的答语。2. 教学难点:描述人物外貌时系动词be 和实义动词have/has的用法。3、 教学过程. Warming- up and revision1.Greet the students as usual.2.Complete the blanks with the words you have learned last class.What does he look like?Short/long hair, straight/curly hairof medium height/buildTall,short, heavy,thin 3. Write these words in the correct box.( 3a) ishas Read these words aloud. Then check the answers.4. Look at the pictures in ppt. And describe the people. Eg. Yao Ming is tall. Zhu Bajie is heavy. She has long black hair. She has long curly hair.5.Now you can describe any picture. And the others guess which picture is. Grammar Focus1. Have Ss read the sentences in Grammar Focus. Then observe the sentences. Guide Ss to summarize how to ask and describe peoples looks and the uses of be and have.询问外貌:What+ do/does + 主语+ look like?描述外貌:主+be + 形容词 / of medium height.主+have /has+形容词+名词.2. Ss read the sentences in Grammar Focus together.3. Look at the pictures and conclude the key points.描述头发:漂亮+长短+形状+颜色Eg:她有一头短的金黄色的卷发。She has short, curly, blonde hair.一头漂亮乌黑的长发 beautiful, long, black hair. Exercises(Work on 3b) Read the sentences and circle the correct words to complete the conversation. 1. Ss read the sentences and chose the correct words quickly. 2. Check the answers.3. Describe the people in the pictures with the sentence structures you learned in this class. . Report.Who is your favorite teacher?
