Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show?教学设计石门三中 郭君华一、教学目标:1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握有关电视节目及看法的词汇:sitcom, news, soap opera, talk show ,game show , sports show , talent show ,stand, mind,2)能掌握以下句型: What do you want to watch? What do you think of talk shows? I cant stand them. I dont mind them. I like/love them. / I dont like them. 2.能力目标:通过本课的学习,培养学生简单地谈论对事物的看法;学会谈论自己的喜好。3.过程与方法:利用各种直观的电视类型图片、视频展开课堂教学,通过竞赛,对话,游戏等活动激发学生对节目了解的求知欲,激发学生表达自己对节目看法,表达自己喜好的求知欲。4. 情感态度和价值观目标: 学会谈论流行文化,了解各类电视和电视节目的名称和自己的喜欢。 注意引导学生们形成正确的文化观念,大力培养学生们的跨文化意义,形成自己独立的个性。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 学习掌握各类电视和电视节目的名称。2) 掌握本课所学的句型:2. 教学难点:1)听懂人物的对话内容。2)让学生运用所学知识谈论电视节目。三、教学过程. Lead-in播放视频片段,学生们观看。然后提问What do you think of the TV show ?Why? Do you like watching TV? Do you want to watch a game show? What do you want to watch ?What are these TV shows?根据图片提示学习各类电视节目并且练习运用What do you think of? . New words Learn the names of the TV shows. . Games 1. Let students say the names of the TV shows quickly2. Match the TV shows with the pictures in 1a. PresentationTeacher presents the sentences: What do you think of talent shows /?I like/love them. / I dont like them./ I cant stand them./ I dont mind them. Drills Show the pictures and ask : What do you think of ? Let students can answer using : I like/love them. / I dont like them./ I cant stand them./ I dont mind them. Listening1. Pre- listening. T:I plan to watch talent shows tonight. Do you want to join me? What do you want to watch ? Now here is a conversation between Jack and Mark. Lets listen carefully what they are talking. What TV shows are they talking ? Lets listen and number the shows 1-4 in order your hear.2.T: What TV shows are they talking ? Lets listen and number the shows 1-4 in order your hear.
