Unit 6 Im watching TV. Section A (1a-2d)教学设计教学目标(一)知识目标1.词汇:newspaper, read a newspaper, use, soup, make soup, wash, movie,go to the movies2.句型:What are you doing? Im watching TV.Whats she doing ? Shes listening to music.What are they doing? Theyre dancing.Are you watching TV? Yes, I am. /No, Im not.Is she driving? Yes, she is. /No, she isnt.Are they dancing? Yes, they are. /No, they arent.3.初步了解现在进行时的用法;掌握现在进行时的句子结构特征;现在分词的构成规律。(二)能力目标 将现在进行时灵活适时地运用到日常学习和生活中去。(三)情感目标在趣味话题的激励下,诱导学生积极参与,充分调动他们的学习兴趣,并注重培养学生的合作竞争能力和自主探究学习的能力。教学重难点教学重点:What are you doing? I am v-ing. What is he doing? He is v-ing. 以及四会单词和短语和现在进行时的用法。教学难点:现在进行时中现在分词的结构,能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。教学方法1、教法分析 1)现在进行时是学生刚刚接触的一种新的语法项目,而本单元的话题源自生活,立足这一点,我充分利用学生已有的知识和生活经验和网络资源,创设生活化的真实情境(或半真实情境)引导学生在运用语言中学习语言,然后在学习新的语言知识后创造性地运用语言(为用而学,在用中学,学了就用)。2)借助多媒体开展多种类型的任务型活动,如对话,表演等提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间,促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作,为完成任务进行探究性学习。2、学法指导新制定的英语课程标准把“培养学生学习英语的兴趣,树立自信心,培养良好学习习惯和形成有效策略,发展自主学习和合作精神”放在了首位。依据课改的精神,我从以下几个方面对学生进行学法指导。1)学习方法的指导 培养学生观察力,想象力,记忆力以及思维能力。用生动的多媒体课件调动学生的感官进行听说读写的训练。2)学习积极性的调动 我在教学过程中创造一种开放的,和谐的,积极互动的语言氛围,把课堂变成有声有色的舞台,让学生在乐中学。3)学习能力的培养 通过连贯的听说读写,游戏竞猜等,培养学生的交际能力,发展他们的思维能力。4)学习策略的指导本节课将在课堂活动中让学生围绕着课堂任务在活动中相互探讨、相互交流、相互合作,从而获得知识、技能和情感体验,发展他们的能力。创建开放式,探究式的课堂,有意识渗透学习策略的训练。我让学生观察课件画面,回答问题,让学生学会使用认知策略;让学生表演对话,实现交际策略;引导学生与他人合作,培养学生的合作意识与探究能力。3、教学手段多媒体辅助:将本课所需要的录音、图片、文字、动画制作的PPT用于智慧教室,并同时使用了智慧教室中的抢权,倒计时等多项功能,使抽象的语言变得直观,为学生运用英语进行交际创设情景,实现师生互动,生生互动和人机互动的多向交流。教学步骤:I. Warming up and lead in1. Ask the students to have a brainstorm: What do you usually do on weekends?2. Tell the students about my weekends: I usually go to the movies and my favorite movie is Zootopia. There are many animals in this movie and today lets welcome some of them.II. Presentation1. Show the picture of Judy. Learn the words or phrases in sentences.-Whats she doing? -Shes listening to music.Teach: singing (Gazelle), reading (Chief Bogo), drinking cola (Ben), using the computer (Flash), dancing.as the same way.2. Pair work.A: Whats she doing?B: Shes listening to music.A: What are they doing? B: Theyre dancing.3. Challenge yourselfAccording to the pictures and words or phrases, answer the questions.-Whats she doing? -Shes exercising.Teach: talking on the phone, reading a newspaper, washing the dishes, making soup, watching TV.as the same way.4. Give the Ss some time to remember the phrases.5. Work on 1a. Match the activities with the pictures. 6. Check the answers with the Ss. 7. Can you add ing to the words? Now lets listen and find out the right activities from 1a. 2. Say it together. Jenny is watching TV. John is washing the dishes. Dave and Mary are listening to a CD. IV. Pair work 1c1. Ask the Ss to read the conversations in 1c with a partner. Then look at the pictures in 1a. 2. Ss make conversations by themselves and practice the conversations. . Listening 2a&2b&2c1. Work on 2a T: Jack and Steve are talking on the phone. What are they doing now? Listen to the conversations and match the answers with the questions. 2. Work on 2b Play the recording for the Ss. The first time Ss only listen and write down the words in the blanks. Then play the recording again for the Ss to check the answers. 3. Listen and repeat Press the Pause button to help. Pay attention to the pronunciation, intonation and feeling. Role-play the conversation in 2b.VI. Read and match 2d1. Ask the Ss to read the conversation and match the two girls with the pictures.2. Check the answer.Laura is washing her clothes.Jenny is watching TV.They want to eat out.VII. Guessing gameShow Ss pictures and ask them to guess what the animals in Zoopotia are doing.-Is she driving? -Yes, she is. /No, she isnt.Guess: dancing, taking photos, playing volleyball, eating.as the same way.VIII. Show time1. Some students act and then ask the others: What am I doing? / What are we doing?2. The others guess: Are you ing?3. Who is the best actor/actress?All of you did very well, so you should give yourselves some applause.IX. SummaryWhat are you doing? Im watching TV.Whats she doing ?
