Unit 9 Can you come to my party?First period Section A (1a1c)桂平市木根初级中学 李卓霞 一 教材分析本课是本单元的第一课时。主要围绕邀请(invitation)这一交际功能展开,邀请学生能发出,接受或拒绝邀请。邀请学生能够听懂关于邀请的对话,并能按照对话中的相关信息做出判断,说明原因,重在模仿运用语言。二 教学目标 知识目标:1.识读本节课的一些新单词:prepare, prepare for, exam, flu2. 能听懂并说本节课要求掌握的短语:1)prepare for an exam 2) help my parents3)go to the doctor 4) meet my friend 5.)have the flu3.能听懂并运用提出邀请,接受邀请和拒绝邀请并说明理由的句型(重难点): Can you come to my party on Saturday? Sure,Id love to . (Im) sorry, I have to/must 情感态度价值观目标:学会人际交往的基本常识,学会有礼貌地邀请别人以及回答别人的邀请的方式。三 教学重难点:通过听力练习和小组合作,听懂并运用提出邀请,接受邀请和拒绝邀请并说明理由的句型。Teaching steps. Lead-in 1. Show a picture of partyT: Well, the four new teachers in our school are going to leave, so we are going to have a party. I want to ask your guys to come. Can you come to my party? What can we do at the party? Ss: we can sing. We can dance. We can.2. Show learning goals. Presentation1.T: Im really busy on these days. I need to relax on weekends. What can I do to relax? Show some pictures.Ss: You can go to the movies. You can.2. Then show more pictures about weekend activities. And ask Ss speak out these phrases according to the pictures.3. T: Christmas is coming. Im going to have a Christmas party on Saturday afternoon. Can you come to my party?Look at the expressions on the screen: “Sure, Id love to.” “Im sorry, I have to”. Read the expressions to the class and the students repeat each one. Say, can you come to my party? Have the Ss give “yes answers” and Ss give “no answers” then plus a reason. 4. Ask students to learn some new words and some phrases. At the same time, ask Ss to practice with I have to. 5. Ask Ss to finish 1a, and then check the answers. Game 1.Ask Ss to stand up and speak out English as long as they saw the pictures or words.2. Show an invitation card and ask Ss to invite some friends to the party.Listening 1. T: Now listen to the recording and write the names next to the correct students in the picture. 2. Play the recording for the first time. Students only listen. Play the recording a second time. Write the name of each person next to his or her picture.3. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss. . Group work (Lets find the best actor or actress in our class)1. Help students form groups of four. Say, one of you is student A. Student A invites the other three students to your party. The other students say “yes” or “no”. Remember to give a reason. I have to/ must.板书设计:教学反思:新课改倡导全人教学,强调课程学要促进每个学生身心健康的发展,培养学生良好的品质的终身学习的能力;新课改倡导建设性学习,注重科学探究的学习,提倡交流与合作、自主创新学习。所以教师必须面向全体学生,为学生全面发展和终身发展奠定基础。在本节课中,我深入了解教材,把握本单元的重难点,理解教材内容,了解学生的学情。然后创设各种情景,为学生提供自主学习和直接交流的机会,以及充分表现和自我发展的一个空间。同时关注学生情感,创造民主、和谐的教学气氛。学生只有对自己、对英语及英文化有积极的情态,才能保持英语学习的动力并取得成绩。沉闷的学习氛围,不仅会影响学生的情绪,而且也会影响到学生的学习积极性。因此在授课中我努力创造宽松民主、和谐的教学空间。在本节课中我把英语教学与情态有机的结合起来,创造各种合作学习的活动,促进学生互相学习、互相帮助、体验成就感发展合作精神。此外,我在帮助学生学习时,注意及时鼓励学生,使学生树立学好英语的信心。在本节课中,我
