Revise the key words, phrases and sentences in this unit.2. To learn two new words: camera, bird Key points and teaching difficulties.Consolidate the present progressive tense.Teaching steps:Step 1 Warming-up and revision(1) Fill in the blanks to revise the new words in Unit6.Check and show the answers.(2) Review the present tense and the present progressive tense, get the student to try to find out the differences between them.(3) Show some pictures ,ask and answer to practice the sentences:What s he/ she doing?-He is running / She is reading.What are they doing?-The are having class.Step 2 Practice 3a1. Lets look at Jims family photo and read his letter to Bob. Ill give you two minutes to practice it.T: At this time Ill ask several students to say something about your photos.Step5 Presentation Use two pictures and present the new words: camera, bird T: What is this? S4: I think it is flying.Step6 Shelf Check1. Add more words in the chart.Then write at least 5 sentences using the words.2. (2).Ss read the conversation and try to make questions with the help of the words in the bracket.(3) Check the answers with the class.
