B Read and write二、 教材分析:本课时是人教版五年级下册第四单元第五课时。主要围绕“Sarahs kittens”展开话题,主要通过文本学习词汇kitten, diary, still, noise, fur, open, walk以及能够完成读后活动。激发学生学习英语的兴趣和增强学好英语的信心。本课时的内容是对所学知识的扩展,综合了以前的知识,本课时的重点是文本的理解以及能够根据阅读所获取的信息完成一系列活动。本课时Read and write分为读和写两部分。第一部分是阅读日记。第二部分是朗读和连线活动,将小猫出生后的变化与相应的日期连线。第三部分是书写活动。文本的内容关于小动物的,符合学生的实际生活,很能吸引学生的阅读兴趣。本课时Read and write的生词较多,理解起来有一定的困难。教师要借助于多媒体、图片,语境帮助学生理解,然后运用任务型教学法、情景交际法、小组合作法等多种教学方法引导学生自主学习,提高学生的阅读能力,培养良好的阅读习惯。三、 教学目标:(1)能够听、说、认读单词:kitten, diary, still, noise, fur, open, walk。(2)能够在图片的帮助下理解日记并完成读后活动。(3)能够按照正确的语音、语调、意群朗读短文。四、教学重难点:重点:(1)能够在图片的帮助下理解日记。(2)能够在图片的帮助下理解日记并完成读后活动。难点:词汇的理解和复述文本。四、 教学过程:Step1. Warm up and review1. Sing“When is your birthday?” and think:Q1; When is Sarahs birthday?Q2:When is Zhang Pengs birthday?设计意图:活跃课堂气氛,根据歌曲复习重点句型When is your birthday? Its on_.2. Free talkWe know Sarahs and Zhang Pengs birthdays. I want to know your birthday ,too. Who can tell me?1) Make a modle.2) Practice in pairs.3) Act out.设计意图:为后面学生学习Read and write 和提问做铺垫。Step2. Presentation and practiceShow pictures of Sarahs cat and kittens.1. Look at kittens and teach it.Sarahs cat has two baby cats.Do you want to see baby cats. Lets see them.Look ! The baby cats are very small .Baby cats ,people usually call them “kittens”.And then teach kitten.2. Discuss the pictureWhat colour are they? What are they like?Students give some questions.eg:When are kittens birthday? How old are they?I want to know kittens birthday, too. Sarah love them very much.So Sarah keeps kittensdiary. This time, lets read Sarahdiary.3. Fast reading Read quickly and silently .Find out the answer. Kittens grow and grow up. Do you want to see the other pictures? Lets see the other pictures.Show pictures.The kittens are so cute. Please read the passage quickly and put the pictures in order.Check and put the pictures on the blackboard in order.4. Discuss the second picture in your group.Q1:Are they pink?Q2: what colour?Q3: What are they like?Q4:How old are they?Check the answers and teach the new word“fur”.According nurse to try to read fur.5. Show the third picture and say:Look at kittens eyes. Their eyes are open.(point to the kittens eyes and do the action)What colour are they? Ss look and answer.6.
