Now theres a new one in our school并能在实际情境中正确运用。2.过程与方法:会唱歌曲Changes in me。3.情感、态度、价值观:在对话交流中使学生养成用英语交流的习惯,培养良好的语音语调和语感。教学重点:学习句子:There was no library in my old school. Tell us about your school, please. How do you know that? There were no computers or Internet in my time.教学难点:能正确使用一般过去时和一般现在时。教学时间:一课时授课模式:新授课教学方法:讲授法、谈话法、练习法学法指导:自主、合作、探究教学手段:多媒体教学一、教学过程:Step 1.预习温故1. Go over the phrases of Unit 3: ate fresh food, went swimming, took pictures, bought gifts, rode a horse, rode a bike , went camping, hurt my foot ,went fishing教师说短语的第一个单词,学生说出短语,并造一个句子。如T: took. Ss: Took pictures, I took pictures last weekend. ( 边做动作边说)2. Free talk. T: How was your weekend? Ss: It was fine.T: Where did you go? Ss: I went to .T: How did you go there? Ss: By .T: What did you do there? Ss: I went fishing. / .2抽读已学过的校园场所类的单词并拼读:teachers office,library,playground, computer room, art room, music roomStep 2. 新课呈现(Presentation)1教学单词和词组dining hall,grass,gym,ago(1)教学单词grass 教师出示草坪的图片问:what s this ?同时自答:It s grass.并板书:grass。教师提问:What do you often do on the grass?引导学生回答:We can play football on the grass.教师用升、降调带读单词grass,引导学生拼读记忆单词grass。(2)教学单词gym教师拿着体育馆的图片,不让学生看见。介绍说:You often play basketball in it .Sometimes you have a P.E class in it . Guess , what is it ?学生猜过后,教师把图片展示给学生看:Look ,its a gym . 随后教师板书:gym,并带读gym,引导学生拼读记忆gym。 (3)教学词组dining hall 教师指着教室的墙面问:What-s this?学生回答:It-s a wall教师接着问:Can you spell it?学生拼读单词wall,教师板书wall。然后教师将wall改成hall,让学生试读单词。告诉学生:hall是大厅、礼堂的意思。全班拼读记忆单词hall。接着教师在hall的前面加上dining,让学生猜猜dining hall的意思。师追问:What do you often do in the dining hall?学生回答:We often have lunch in the dining hall教师用升降调带读词组dining hall,并让学生拼读记忆该词组。(4)教学单词ago和词组.years ago,.months ago教师介绍:I played basketball in the gym three days ago.1 went to Hangzhou two months ago.l visited the Great Wall three years ago.救师板书:days ago,years ago,months ago,让学生说说ago的意思。在理解的基础上,让全班拼读记忆单词ago。最后教师让学生用ago来造句。2.教学句子There was no gym in my school ten years ago .Now theres a new one in our school.教师出示两张新旧学校的图片介绍并板书:There was no gym in my school ten years ago .Now theres a new one in our school.然后让学生模仿这两个句子比较学校的今昔。如: There were no computers in our school ten years ago .Now there are many computers in our school.There were sixteen classes in our school ten years ago .Now there are thirty classes in our school.3教学ALet s learn(1)教师播放A. Let -s learn部分的课文录音,学生边听边跟读。(2)学生两人一组表演对话。(3)请几组学生到台前表演。Step 3 巩固与拓展(Consolidation and extension)1教学Find the mistakes 活动方式:先让学生独立阅读这段话,然后圈出图画中与描述不符之处,最后全班讲评订正。2.学唱歌曲Changes in me(1)教师播放歌曲,学生静听。(2)再次播放歌曲录音,让学生小声跟唱,体会歌曲的节奏。(3)继续播放歌曲录音,让学生大声跟唱。 (4)学生配上动作表演唱。二、作业布置:1.听录音,跟读对话。2.用英文向家人成朋友描述学校的今昔变化。三、板书设计:Unit 4 Then and nowdining hall gym grass ago .yearsago .monthsagolast year last month Therewas
