Teaching time One class七.Teaching process 1. Presentation Word and expressions . To increase the students vocabulary . Ill ask them to read aloud one by one . Some pictures show different places . Help the students understand some words and phrases . ( library ; supermarket ; restaurant ; post office ; bank; street ; park ; pay phone ; airport ; museum etc. ) 2. Practice 1a. To set the scene , test the students knowledge and increase their vocabulary .The picture shows a map of a typical US town . There are three street : Bridge Street , Center Street and Long Street . There are several buildings , including a hospital , a restaurant Help the students finish this exercise .3. Listening To give the students listening practice with the target language .4. Pairwork Help the students ask and answer in pairs by use There be structure. They can ask other places in 1a. ( Is there a hospital near here ? Yes , there is . Its on Bridge Street .)5. Presentation To give the students a chance to know some prepositions . The pictures show the position relations of a ball and a box . These pictures can help the students understand the prepositions of place . ( in front of ; across from ; next to ; between and ; behind etc. ) 6. Practice To help the students use the target language in conversations. Several pictures shows different buildings . Help the students ask and answer like this ; Where is the pay phone ? Its across from the library .7. Listening To give the students listening practice with the target language .8.Pairwork 2d. To help the students use the target language in a controlled manner . 9. Game Memory challenge . Give the students two pictures . The buildings are same but they are lying in different places in two pictures . Let the students find the differences . This can help the students grasp the target language better .10. Summary Ask the student to sum up what they learn from this lesson .
