河南省2016年度教学技能竞赛参赛作品Unit 6An old man tried to move the mountainsSection B (2a2e) 李静静 河南省济源市沁园中学 二零一六年六月十一日一、单元教材分析: 本单元内容主要涉及到连词unless, as soon as 和sothat等的用法,进一步巩固条件状语从句。本单元出现的阅读类文章都是学生非常喜欢的话题。在教学过程中,要充分激发学生的兴趣。通过本单元的学习,学生能够从时间、地点、人物以及事件等方面描述英文故事。二、单元教学目标: 1. 知识目标: (1)掌握一些相关的词和词组:shoot, stone, weak, god, remind, bit, a little bit, silly, instead of, turninto, object, hide, tail, magic, stick, excite, Western, once upon, stepsister, fall in love, fit, couple, smile, marry, get married, gold, emperor, silk, nobody, stupid, cheat, stepmother, wife, husband, whole, scene, moonlight, shine, bright, ground, lead, voice, brave等; (2)掌握连词unless, as soon as 和sothat等的用法。 (3)学生能够从时间、地点、人物以及事件等方面描述英文故事。 (4)运用“上下文暗示法”解阅读题和完形填空题。 2. 能力目标:掌握并能灵活运用本单元的重点词汇以及相关短语,能够正确掌握并运用连词,进一步提高学生阅读文章的能力。 3. 情感目标:通过一些经典故事,教学生学会乐于助人,主动地区帮助处于困境中的人们。在生活中,当面对困难的抉择时,要勇敢地面对一切,决不放弃。三、本课时教学重点:1. 复习巩固连词unless, as soon as 和sothat等的用法。2. 阅读理解和完形填空的技巧训练四、本课时教学难点:阅读理解和完形填空的技巧训练5、 教学过程:Step 1: Lead-in 1. Greet each other 2. Use a video Snow White and The Seven Dwarfsto lead into the new lesson Hansel and Gretel. Step 2: Listen and Read First listen to the tape and try to understand the play. And then lead the students to read the play by themselves. After reading the text,try to do some exercises: 1.Match each description below with the correct scene.(2c) 2.Read the play again and answer the questions.(2d)Step 3: Work in groups Encourage the students to work in groups of four and try to find out the important points and difficult points. Choose some students to say out the points. And then the teacher tries to explain some language points: 1. have/make a plan to do something= plan to do something 2. so.that. 3. along the way 4. leave somebody to die 5. the whole country 6. be made of. 7. a boy called . 8. lead somebody to do something Step 4: Practice After the students understand the play well,the teacher try to encourage them to do a more difficult exercise: Complete the summary of the play. Gretel heard that their_planned to_her and her brother. but Hansel had a plan to_himself and his Sister. he went to get some white_before he went to bed that night. the next day, the wife sent the children to the_Hansel_the stones as they walked. later that night, they could see the stones because of the shining_the stones showed them the way home. Hansel wanted to get more stones, but his stepmother did not let him go out. the next morning, the wife sent the children to the forest again. Hansel had no stones, so he dropped _ of_but the _ate them, so Hansel and Gretel were_in the forest. They walked until the saw a_made of food. Hansel wanted to_ the house, but then they heard the voice of an old_coming from the house After checking the answers ,and let the students to read them carefully.
