Review the words they have learned: teacher, nurse, doctor, basketball player, runner, actor, actress【设计意图】:以问的形式呈现学过的职业单词3. Brainstorm: students write down and say out the nsmes of the jobs.【设计意图】:希望在最短的时间内激活学生的已有知识,通过分享,做到互补。. Presentation1. Present the new words by using the pictures : computer programmer, cook, engineer, violinist, pianist, pilot, scientist, 2. Memorize the words in 1a by writing down Chinese meanings。3. Tell Ss to rank them 1-12. 1 is most interesting, 12 is least interesting. 4. Read the new words by yourself and try to remember the new words. 【设计意图】:通过读、写、记的形式来学习和巩固单词。5. Present the sentence patterns by looking at the picture and using the words in 1a to ask the students:What do you want to be when you grow up? How are you going to do that?【设计意图】:通过问答的形式来学习句型和巩固单词。. Listening 1. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and fill in the blanks. 2. Play the recording again. Ss listen and match the jobs with activities. 3.Check the answers on the big screen.【设计意图】: 给予学生听力和书写能力的训练,让学生练习听取关键信息。 . Pair work 1c1. Let Ss read the model together. 2. Use the information in the chart of 1b. Ask your partner as you are a reporter. 3. Let some pairs ask and answer about the chart. Let the Ss listen and check () the correct boxes in the picture. Work on 2b: 1. Let Ss read the chart below. Tell Ss that theyll listen to Cheng Hans plan for the future.
