Greet the class as usual.T: Good morning/afternoon! How are you? Whats the date today? What day is it today? Whats the weather like today? Are you happy? Learn the song “If youre happy.”T: Im very happy today, do you know? Please guess!Step 2 ReadingPresent the photos of Emily and Dave on Page 74(They are laughing) and ask: T: Are you happy? Why?Revise Part 1 in Section B. Then show the photo of Zhao Pei in3a. Ask: Is she happy? Let Ss read the letter and find out the answers.
