Unit 6 Im going to study computer science.教学设计 尹变玲 文安县第二中学Section A一、教材分析本单元以“What do you want to be when you grow up?引出话题,谈论人们将要做什么,使学生们学会如何了解或表述将来的一种状态,正确使用be going to do结构。用一般将来时谈论未来自己理想的职业与原因,为实现理想所做出的打算和安排,以及制定未来一段时间内的学习计划。目的是通过对人生理想的讨论使青少年对未来有美好的憧憬,而且要从现在做起,为健康的理想而奋斗。二、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词:grow up, computer programmer, cook, doctor, engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist, be going to 能掌握以下句型: What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a basketball player. How are you going to do that? Im going to practice basketball every day. 2) 能了解以下语法: 掌握一般将来时态的构成形式. 3) 用一般将来时态表达将要做的事情. 2. 情感态度价值观目标: 每个人都有自己的梦想和对未来的打算,对于将来想要从事的职业也充满了憧憬. 人们经常谈论他们的设想,因此,应通过学习这单元的内容来激发学生们的学习主动性和学习兴趣,使他们更加有理想,并为实现自己的理想而不断努力.三、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 学习一般将来时态的构成方式.2) 学习本课时出现的重点句型,通过在不同情景下运用来熟练 掌握一般将来时态.2. 教学难点:用一般将来时态表达自己未来的打算.四、教学过程. Lead-in 1. 首先听一首关于职业的英文歌 b what u wanna b,引导学生听出一些关于职业的词语,例如:doctor,singer,policeman,postman,actor, dreamer,并通过此歌激发学生兴趣. . Presentation 1. 播放幻灯片,展示一些职业的图片,来引导学生们学习一些新的职业名词: computer programmer, cook, engineer, violinist, pianist, pilot, scientist, 教师领读单词帮助学生矫正读音. 2. 让学生们列举其他有关职业的单词,看大屏幕为学生展示其他职业名称及修饰职业的形容词.3. 询问学生对各种职业的看法.4. Try to remember the new words. . 教师通过介绍自己小时候的梦想,询问学生们想要从事的职业,从而引出句型: What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a basketball player. How are you going to do that? Im going to practice basketball every day. 通过师生间的互动练习重点句型,并在黑板上重点讲解be going to do sth.Guessing game1. Show four pictures on the big screen. 2. Let Ss guess what their dreams are . 3. Ask students who has the same dream and ask Ss: Why do you want to be a/an.? Where are you going to work in the future? How are you going to do that? 通过此活动让学生掌握重点句型. Listening 1. T: Tell Ss to read the words of jobs in the chart. Make sure they know the meaning of the words and sentences. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and fill in the blanks. 3. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss. 4. Show the answers on the big screen. Ask and answer1. Let Ss look at the pictures on the screen, then ask and answer to practice the main sentences. Pairwork1.Tell Ss to ask and answer about main language:A: What do you want to be when you grow up ?B: I want to be a/an A: How are you going to do that?B: I am going to A: Where are you going to work?B: I am going to work in.2. Give a model to the Ss. 3. Ask some pairs to act out their conversations. . Survey reportAskthestudentstoworkingroups. Finishthefollowingform.
