Unit1 Can you play the guitar太湖县江塘初级中学 徐翠红教学年级:七年级课题名称:Unit1 Can you play the guitar课型:听说、巩固课型一、 学生分析:1、本班大部分学生对英语较感兴趣,能积极参加各种活动,有一定的综合语言运用能力,能够用英语进行一些话题的讨论、调查、报告、情景对话和角色扮演等。2、有少部分同学基础较差,因此在位置安排上,应把他们平均分配到各组,让基础稍好的学生带动他们学习,设计任务时应由易到难,难易适中。二、教材分析1、本课是Unit1中的第一课时,要完成Section A的1a、1b、1c、2a、2b、2c的内容。2、本课时让学生学会Can的基本用法并在教学中涉及到what can you do ? He can sing well等句型。为他们学习3a、3b、3c打好基础。3、本课教学中运用了以前学过的知识:Do you ? Play football ,play volleyball 等,有扩展知识学到了play the guitar ?4、本课学的是Can 的表达和询问能力的用法,并学习一些动作的表达。因此我把表示动作的单词和学生的才艺结合起来,展示学生的才能。三、教学内容1、guitar ,dance ,swim ,sing ,chess ,speak ,play the guitar ,play chess ,speck English.2、Can you / he / she / you ? Yes . I / he /she / we can . / No , I / he /she / we cant .3、What club do you want to Join ? I want to join the music club .四、教学目标1、语言知识目标、能掌握 can 的肯定句、一般疑问句和特殊疑问句的用法并用情态动词 can 表示能力。、俱乐部的表达。2、语言技能目标、能谈论自己在某方面所具有的能力。、能谈论他人的能力。、能谈论加入俱乐部。3、情感目标让学生积极参与各项活动,大胆的运用英语进行交谈,激发学习英语的兴趣,让学生在才艺表演、玩游戏及课文学习中增强自信心,使学生获得成就感,培养合作精神。4、学习策略与思维技巧、经过谈论才能、小组活动、做调查、猜动作游戏、读写综合,挖掘自身的潜力,培养自信心和群体意识。、通过对残疾人能力的了解,让学生感受一种积极向上的精神。5、文化意识目标运用残疾人图片对学生进行人格教育,教育学生要自信,鼓励学生大胆追求自己的梦想,只要努力就能成功,并教给学生几句名言:Try to do everything ! Believe me I can fly ! Believe me I can do everything !五、教学重点与难点1、教学重点:通过各种活动,练习can 的用法。2、教学难点:活动中运用的单词、句型,并能够以短文形式来表达自己的能力。六、教学过程Task One : Guessing gameStep1、Warming up Ask : Do you like stars ? Can you name some stars ?Step2、Presentation . 、Present the picture of Yao Ming for the students to guess and say something about him.、Present the sentences :He can play basketball . I cant pay basketball .Can you play basketball ? Present other new words and actions .Sing 、swim 、dance 、draw 、play chess 、speak English 、play the guitar .Step3:Ask and answer、 Let the Ss describe the pictures .、 Read the words after the teacher.、 Ask the questions about the actions one by one .T:Can you swim ? T:Can he swim ? Step4、Work on 1a ,、Match the activities with the people in the picture .、Talk about the picture with Ss using the target language .T: Can “a” speak English ? S: Yes , she can .
