PEP Book4 Unit4 At the farm 教学设计塔石小学 周亚珍一、教学内容与分析1教学内容:A Lets learn, Lets chant2教学目标:(1)能听、说、认读单词tomato、potato、carrot、green bean及其复数形式。(2)能够熟练运用上述单词与词组并运用句型Theyre 描述蔬菜特征。(3)能够理解、跟读歌谣。3教学重点、难点分析重点:能够熟练运用蔬菜单词及已学的形容词描述蔬菜特征。难点:掌握tomato和potato的复数形式变化。二、课前准备1本课教学相关的单词卡片。2Zoom头饰。3多媒体课件4本课五种蔬菜实物各一筐。三、教学步骤(一)热身与复习1.Greeting.2.Enioy a song:One little finger3.Game:Listen,read and judgeT: Im your new friend today.But you dont know anything about me.It doesnt matter.We can play a game about me.Look,the rule is “If you think it is ture,say YES YES YES!If you think it is false,say NO NO NO!”.学生判断以下句子:Im from Tashi Primary School.(YES)Im forty years old. (NO)I dont like pears. (YES)(T: I dont like pears.But pears I will try.Because they are good for health.)I like apples very much. (YES)I love to eat onions. (NO)承接第五句,顺势教学本课Lets chant中的新词onion.T:Do you like onions?Me,neither.Because onions make me cry.用动作演示教学”make me cry”,并请学生读一读演一演。(设计意图:用趣味性强的游戏增进师生情感,并渗透本课Lets chant中的内容。)4.Game:Memory challengeT:So now you know me a lot.Good job.Look,today we also have an old friend.Who is she?Yes,she is Zip.Zip has a merroy challenge for you.Do you want to challenge?You only have 5 seconds.Now,here we go.学生挑战在5秒钟内记忆单词:green long small big short cute。5秒钟后单词消失,学生凭记忆报出这些单词。(设计意图:运用趣味挑战复习巩固本课将要用到的一些形容词,并顺势引出接下来的情境。)(二)呈现新知1、承接上个环节,创设情境。T:Good job.You have good memory.You remember all the words.(点击出现刚才的五个单词,并在每个单词后出现蔬菜或水果的图片,形成词组:green apples/long bananas/small grapes/big onions/short bananas/cute strawberries)Oh,look,here comes Zip.课件播放Zip:I have those green apples,long bananas,small grapes,big onions,short bananas and cute strawberries on my farm.Now I am going to get vegetables.Do you want to go with me?课件呈现Zip的农场。教师顺势带读单词”farm”。课件呈现Zoom在农场中因五谷不分而无所适从的场景。T:Wow,who is on the farm too?Yes,its Zoom.And it is the first time for Zoom to see so many vegetables.He doesnt know what are these.Can you help Zoom?(设计意图:创设Zip家农场的情境贯穿本课所有教学内容,并以帮助Zoom认识蔬菜为主线教学4个新授单词。)2、教学carrots,并运用本课句型“Look at the carrots.Theyre so .”描述不同大小和长短的胡萝卜。T:Lets help Zoom.Look at these,what are these?Can you guess?You can guess in Chinese.生用中文猜测图中的蔬菜。T:Now lets watch a vedio and try to find the answer.教师播放主情景图中的一段Zoom与Zip的对话,并揭示答案:carrots。课件呈现Zip从胡萝卜地里拔出一根胡萝卜,教学单词“carrot”。课件呈现Zip从胡萝卜地里拔出多跟胡萝卜,动画显示在carrot后加上“s”表示复数,教师强调:Here we plus “s” for plural form.通过旧词students使学生感受其中“ts”字母组合的发音,并将其迁移到新词carrots,引导学生正确拼读新词carrots,并教学单词carrots。教师引导学生共同书写单词“carrots”。出示长的胡萝卜和短的胡萝卜的图片,引导学生用句型“Look at the carrots.Theyre so .”来描述这些不同的胡萝卜。3、教学potatoes,并运用本课句型“Look at the patatoes.The potatoes are .”描述不同大小的土豆。承接上面情境,出示第二幅图,让学生用中文猜一猜图中的蔬菜。课件呈现Zip从土豆地里拔出一颗土豆,教学单词potato。课件呈现Zip从土豆地里拔出多颗土豆,动画显示在potato后加上“es”表示复数,课件显示“Tip:以o结尾的名词的复数形式一般要加es ”。教师强调:Here we plus “es” for plural form,because “potato”is ended by the letter “o”.Its a special rule you should know.教学单词potatoes。教师引导学生共同书写单词“potatoes”。出示大的土豆和小的土豆,引导学生用句型“Look at the patatoes.The potatoes are .”来描述这些不同的土豆。4、教学tomatoes,并运用句型“Look at the tomatoes.Theyre so .”或者“The tomatoes are .”来描述不同大小和颜色的西红柿。 承接上面情境,出示第三幅图,让学生用中文猜一猜图中的蔬菜。课件呈现Zip的提示Riddle: They are red.They are round(圆的).They are very yummy(好吃)。引导学生猜一猜,并揭示答案。课件呈现Zip从西红柿地里摘下一颗西红柿,呈现单词tomato。引导学生利用刚才所学的单词potato的发音试着读一读tomato,接着教师正音、带读。课件呈现Zip从西红柿地里摘下多颗西红柿。T:We should plus “s” or “es” here?待学生回答之后,动画显示在tomato后加上“es”表示复数,课件显示“Tip:以o结尾的名词的复数形式一般要加es ”。教师强调:Here we plus “es” for plural form too.Because “tomato”is also ended by the letter “o”.Its a special rule you should know.教学单词tomatoes。教师引导学生共同书写单词“tomatoes”。出示不同大小和颜色的西红柿,引导学生用句型“Look at the tomatoes.Theyre so .”或者“The tomatoes are .”来描述这些西红柿。 5、教学green beans,并运用句型“Look at the green beans.Theyre so .”或者“The green beans are .”来描述不同大小的豆角。 承接上面情境,出示第四幅图,让学生用中文猜一猜图中的蔬菜。课件呈现Zip从豆角地里摘下一颗豆角,呈现单词green bean。引导学生利用既学单词ear中ea字母组合的的发音试着读一读bean,接着教师正音、带读。课件呈现Zip从豆角地里摘下多颗豆角,动画显示在green bean后加上“s”表示复数。教师强调:Here we plus “s” for plural form .教学单词green beans。教师引导学生共同书写单词“green beans”。教师强调:Please pay attention,there is a space between the two words.出示不同大小的豆角,引导学生用句型“Look at the green beans.Theyre so .”或者“The green beans are .”来描述这些豆角。 6、教学Lets chant巩固所学单词T:Now Zoom knows all the vegetables.He is very happy now.Thank you very much,You are really very helpful.But do you know all the vegetables?Lets try to read the four words together.教师呈现四种蔬菜植物和4个相应的新授单词,巩固认读这些单词。呈现Lets chant的内容教师提问学生:Do you like carrots/potatoes/tomatoes/green beans/onions?学生回答。T:How about Zip?Does Zip like them?Lets ask Zip.教师带上Zip的头饰,引导学生向Zip提问:Do you like carrots/potatoes/tomatoes/green beans/onions?教师(Zip)回答上述问题,并在最后呈现所有回答,形成chant:(Yes,I do.)I like tomatoes.(Yes,I do.)I like potatoes.(Yes,I do.)Carrots I will try.(Yes,I do.)I love to eat green beans.(No,I dont.)Onions make me cry.师生共同chant。第一遍听,第二遍逐句跟视频chant,第三遍师生共同chant。(设计意图;在情境中巩固4个新授单词,并通过教师(Zip)与学生的问答逐句呈现Lets chant中的句子,帮助学生更好地理解chant。)(三)操练巩固1、承接上一步情境情节,创设“帮助Zip 卖蔬菜”的情境课件呈现Zip:Ive got so many vegetables.They are for sale.Can you help me?课件呈现Food Market。T:Lets help Zip to sell the vegetables. 2、在情境中模仿朗读本课句型课件呈现本课Lets learn中的视频。T:Look,here comes Sarah,John and Mike.What do they want to buy? Lets watch the vedio and try to find.教师播放视频,引导根据视频对话回答:Sarah wants to buy some green beans.Mike wants to buy some potatoes.3、引导学生模仿朗读本课Lets learn中的单词和句子:carrots/ potatoes/ tomatoes/ green beansLook at the green beans.They are so long.Yes,and the potatoes are big.(设计意图;承接上一步Zip摘了四种蔬菜的情节,创设帮助Zip卖蔬菜的情境,连贯自然。教师将本课Lets learn中三人单纯讨论蔬菜外观的对话放入买菜的情境中,赋予了这段对话恰当的情境背景,不突兀不牵强,同时也为下面拓展环节中“卖蔬菜和买蔬菜”的活动做了铺垫,降低了拓展环节的难度。继而教师引导学生看视频,说说Sarah和Mike各想买什么蔬菜,既锻炼了学生的听力,又帮助学生更好地理解了文本内容。)(四)拓展运用1、继续创设情境:帮助Zip 卖蔬菜课件呈现Food Market。T:Lets help Zip to sell the vegetables. 教师带上Zip的头饰,揭开讲台上盖着五筐蔬菜的布,呈现蔬菜实物。T:Im Zip.Look,vegetables for sale! Vegetables for sale!Any customers?课件呈现对话框架, 教师请两位学生与教师一起示范卖蔬菜和买蔬菜:顾客A:Lets buy some vegetables.顾客B:ok.售货员Zip(叫卖蔬菜):Look at the .Theyre so , And the are .顾客A:I like .顾客B:I like .顾客A:So lets buy some. 顾客B:ok.2、教师引导
