(三)情感态度与价值观: We must keep the rules.二、教学重、难点:(一)教学重点:1、重点词汇:in class, classroom, hallway, arrive late, outside, fight, can, cant, must, dining hall, listen to2 、重点句型:Dont eat in class./ We must be on time .3、语言结构: 祈使句 情态动词 can 表示请求的用法。(二)教学难点:1、can 表示请求的用法。2、must 表示命令或建议的用法。3、listen fight的发音。三、教学方法:图片导入、头脑风暴、自由谈话、TPR教学法、任务型教学法。四、教学准备及资源的利用:A tape recorder and a projector.五、教学过程:Step1 Greeting Step 2 Leading-in: Show different signs; help the Ss get their meanings.T: Whats this?Ss: No talking.T: We can also say “Dont talk.”.Show the other signs the same way.Brainstorming: T: Do you know the places that have rules?Ss: library rules, family rules.Step3 PresentationTask 1 Free talk: T: 1.What can we do at school? 2. What cant we do at school?S1: We can read a book.S2: We cant eat in the classroom.Task 2 Show pictures of students breaking rule. T: Can we arrive late for class?Ss: No, we cant.T: Lets look this word. (Point to “arrive) Read after me “arrive”. Pay attention to the form “i_e”, /ai/, write on the blackboard.Teach “late/must” the same way. T helps Ss say “Dont arrive late for class.”Present the other pictures and sentences the same way.Teach “hallways/dining/listen/fight”.Step 4 Practice (1a) Present the rules in 1a. T: Help Ss read “Dont arrive late for class. You must be on time.” And get its meaning.“上课不要迟到,你必须准时。”Teach the other sentences the same way. Read the rules together. T: Some students are having a class. But some of them break some rules. Look at the picture in 1a. Ss do the match. Check answers with 3 Ss. Say the last answer together.Correct Ss pronunciations while they are giving answers. Give comments on each answer to encourage Ss. Step5 Listening (1b) T: Now lets find out who is breaking the rules. First lets review the names.Ss read the 3 names together. T: Listen and write the numbers. Are you ready?Ss: Yes.Play the tape.T: Are you done? Lets share your answers. Read the name and the rule. Are you clear?3 Ss give answers. Listen again to check answers and follow the tape.Play the tape again.Step6 Speak and act (1c)T: lets look at 1c. Ss read the dialog together.T: Whats the meaning?Ss: 规则是什么?我们上课不能迟到,必须准时。T: Now lets work in groups. 1 or 2 Ss from one group act(s) out and then ask, the other groups answer together. The first group getting the right answer loudly and correctly can get one point. Later youll choose which rule to act. So you have to practice all the rules.T gives an example.T: Ill give you 2 minutes to practice. Hands up if there are any questions.Ss practice for 2 minutes.T: who can try? Your group. Please come here. Choose a piece of paper.This group act and ask. The other groups answer quickly. We can arrive at the bus stop before 5 oclock. 我们能在5点之前到达公交站。 arrive in+大地方;arrive at+小地方arrive后接地点副词here/there/home时,省略介词at/inEg: I often arrive home at 7:00. 我时常7点到家。3.must “必须、务必”,为情态动词,后接动词原形 eg: You must come tomorrow. 你(们)明天必须要来。4. on time 按时、准时 Eg: Our teachers always ask us to get to school on time. 我们老师总是让我们准时到校。 5. listen to 听Eg: Listen to the teacher.听老师的话。 6.in class在课上 ;after class下课后Step8 Ss summary, T gives suppliments.
