Im1.61metres.能够使用句型：Im taller, youre taller than me。3.能够运用新学的内容完成 “Do a survey and report”任务技能目标：能够正确运用上述五个单词描述人物的外貌特点；理解比较级的基本构词规律，即在词尾加-er。情感目标：通过本课学习，能进一步激发学生学习英语的热情，形成更加稳固的学习兴趣，增强与他人的交往能力。二、教学重点：能够听、说、读、写taller, shorter, longer, younger, older。三、教学难点：理解比较级的基本构词规律四、教学具准备：单词卡 多媒体课件五、教法：跨越式教学法六、学法：师生交际、生生交际、拓展阅读七、教学过程：（一）创设情景、综合复习1. 师生相互问候。2.Lets sing a song ：My small cat3. Free Talk师生用上节课所学重点句型How tall ? Its ./Im metres . /Im than .进行简单的对话；同桌之间用以上句型对话。（二）听读新知、初步感知Lets learn.1、教师在课件上呈现A Lets learn图片，提问：Who is he/she? Whats he/she like? 请学生描述插图上的几个人物。主要复习young 、old、tall、short、long形容词。2、教师出示图片，然后引出taller、shorter.教师领读学生跟读。在句型中教授单词John is shorter than Zhang Peng. Zhang Peng is shorter than John.教师紧接问：Who is taller/shorter?教师引导学生回答。教师出示图片和句型_ is taller than _. _ is shorter than _.3、教师出示图片，然后引出shorter、longer.教师领读学生跟读然后让学生运用shorter、longer和图片make a sentence，如：Amys skirt is shorter than Chen Jies. Chen Jies skirt is longer than Amys.然后教师出示两个长短的尺子，教师提供句型支架This ruler _ than that one.或That ruler _ than this one。4、教师出示图片，然后引出younger、older.教师领读学生跟读然后让学生运用younger、older.和图片make a sentence。如：Miss White is older than Sarah。Sarah is younger than Miss White。5、教师出示taller、shorter、younger、older、longer单词，请学生观察单词，找出共同点，进而总结形容词比较级的构成规律。最后教师出示一般情况下的变化规则。6、教师播放A Lets learn课文动画，学生跟读。学生同桌合作，模仿Lets learn中对话，根据实际情况对话。 （三）情景交际、巩固所知1、大小声，如：教师大声说taller,学生小声说taller。说错的学生就要说三遍taller。2、唱反调，如：教师说older,学生说younger。说错的学生就要说三遍younger。3、Do a survey and report.在小组内交流，小组长运用How old are you? Im years old .How tall are you? Im metres.完成表格,然后总结汇报。最后整个小组展示。（四）拓展听读、整体感知 1、Reading1 I have a friend. She is Lucy. She is taller than me, but I am thinner than her. We both like Sports. She is better at running than me. I do better in playing basketball than her. We are out going and we like making friends with others. We like to help others.（1）学生听录音或者教师领读。（2）学生跟读。（3）学生自己读两遍。2、Reading2Betty and Mary are good friends. They look like each other. Marys hair is longer than Bettys hair. Betty is taller than Mary. They like swimming. But Betty swims faster than Mary. They also like singing. Mary sings better than Betty. Betty is quieter than Mary. Mary is smarter than Betty. Their bags are pink. Bettys bag is heavier than Marys bag.（1）学生听录音或者教师领读。（2）学生跟读。（3）学生自己读两遍（五）整体运用、灵活表达Talk about my grandparents。教师出示图片，学生运用所学句型进行描述。八、板书设计Unit1 how tall are you?tall-taller、long-longer、old-older、youn
