Unit 1 Where did you go on vacation?Period 4 Section B 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e Teaching design教学目标要求1.能够与同伴用目标语进行交流,如:What do people usually do on vacation? What activities do you find enjoyable?2.能够阅读日记,并完成回答问题、填图表等任务,掌握技巧与方法,如2b, 2c, 2d。3.理解并掌握用一般过去时态写日记,掌握常用动词的过去式,如:任务2e中,go、drink、get、see、be等。4.能正确使用下列常用表达,如:feel like, because of等。5.能够认读并能工整书写所学单词,如:activity, bird, building, trader, difference, top, umbrella, bicycle, decide, 等。6.能够流利朗读文章,从而掌握日记的格式及常用时态。7.利用阅读策略(如寻读及跳读),通过词义的积极及消极性判断、理解文章人物的感受,如:exciting, delicious 感受是happy。8.能认读下列词汇,如:paragliding, trader, Malaysia, Malaysian, Penang Hill, Georgetown, Weld Quay等。教学过程Step1 Revision (4m)1.复习已学目标语和谈论假期的话题Read the conversation and answer the questions.Where did she go on vacation?How was the food?How were the people?2.仿照上述对话,组织Pair-work复习活动OK. Lets make up conversations with your partner. Ask and answer in pairs.学生两人活动,教师抽查1-2组学生。Step2 Leading-in (1m)1.导入新课话题Well, were going to go on learning Section B today. Please tell me what you usually do on vacation.2.引入单元标题教师板书或课件显示:Unit 1 Where did you go on vacation? Period 4教师询问几个学生:What do you usually do on vacation?Step3 Pre-reading 2a (4m)1.读前准备,准备一些假期常见活动的图片, 组织学生对第一个问题展开讨论First, look at the pictures. Please tell me what they do on vacation. Then discuss the 1st question What do people usually do on vacation?Now, lets talk about them together.2.引出简单的讨论,引导学生说出理由,练习形容词Now lets look at the activities. What activities do you find enjoyable?I think it enjoyable to try paragliding / ride bicyclesStep4 Fast-reading (6m)1.读前活动,呈现一组图片,减少障碍Please look at these pictures about Malaysia.2. 导入2b活动,引导学生浏览,把握文段的整体内容Please skim the diaries. Answer the 2 questions. You must pay attention to the beginning and the ending sentences. Read them quickly to underline the key sentences or words to the questions. Then check your answers with your partners. Read it again and find out the description words. Now, please show your sentences and words. (摘出文中对2b问题答语的支持文字)3. 集体朗读、纠正发音、讲解难点Now, read together loudly. Correct and imitate the pronunciation and intonation.Do you have any problems? If you dont understand, let me help you.(根据参考书做好准备需要讲解的知识,可以PPT形式)Step5 Careful-reading and finish 2c (8m)1.细读短文,完成任务 OK, now read carefully again and fill in the chart. After that, you can discuss with others. 学生写作,教师巡视指导,进行必要的帮助、点评及辅导。Check your answers, please.2.师生协商,确定文中值得学习、记忆的语言内容We have finished the task. Lets share some expressions that are important.(教师可以板书比较好的句子,可以事先准备于课件中)要求学生搜寻、抉择中应注意不断提出建议Step6 Read again and finish 2d (8m)1.引导学生朗读课文,教师提问下列问题,要求学生看书回答Read the textbook and answer the questions. They are very helpful to 2d.Ask Ss to answer them.2. 完成对话,同伴交流Now complete the conversation. Then check your answers with your partner.Please say your answers together.3. 换角色朗读对话,教师反馈Ask Ss to role play the conversation. Encourage students to show appropriate feelings when they are speaking, e.g. when saying Sounds great! Oh, no!Step7 After-reading, finish2e (5m) 1.了解英语日记的要素,完成2eHow to write a diary entry?
