Example, IMEI, BT Address, WIFI Address, Calibration flag, Current voltage, SW Version, AP Version, SIM card status, T Card status, MMICIT, Phase Check and so on will be checked in this tool.CheckX also can check SoftWare Version and AP Version of the phone.CheckX supports two modes to connect with phone, “Calibration Mode” and “Normal Mode”.1.2 Runtime environment1.2.1 HardWaren Prepare a phone that needs to test.n Prepare a USB cable with V-BUS is disconnected (If you want to use “Calibration Mode”).n Prepare a normal USB cable (If you want to use “Normal Mode”).1.2.2 SoftWaren Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP, Vista, Win7 or advanced operation system.2 Quick Start2.1 Main User InterfaceFigure 21 Main user interfaceThe major elements on the interface are described as follows:l 1. Toolbar. For operation.l 2. Inputting area. For inputting IMEI1/IMEI2/IMEI3.l 3. Test result.l 4. Detail for display test result.l 5. IDLE status.l 6. Connect information.l 7. Statistics for test.l 8. Operation area.2.2 Quick Operation2.2.1 Step by StepStep 1 Click “CheckX.exe” to open the tool.Click on the toolbar to select connected mode. If you select USB, it means to use “Calibration Mode”, if you select COMX, it means to use “Normal Mode”.If need to supply remote power, please check Remote Power Supply.Figure 22 Mode Selection dialogStep 2 Click on the toolbar to open setting dialog for some basic configuration.If you want to know more settings, please reference to 3.3 Set.Figure 23 Set dialogStep 3 If you select COMX, you must first power on the phone and connected it with PC, and then click Start button to begin test.If you select USB, you must first click Start button, and then power on the phone.Step 4 Test result.PASS:Figure 24 Test result: PASSFAIL:Figure 25 Test result: FAILTIME OUT:Figure 26 Test result: time out-End3 Operation Guide3.1 Main User Interfacel 1. Toolbar. : Setting icon. Some useful configuration can be set in this, please reference to 3.3 Set.: Mode Selection icon. Calibration Mode or Normal Mode, control power or not can be set here.: Help icon. Look up tools version in here. l 2. Inputting area. For inputting IMEI1/IMEI2/IMEI3. Maybe input by manually or by scanner.l 3. Test result.Item: test items.Expected value: value that user expected.Result: PASS or FAIL.Test Detail: Detail information read from phone.l 4. Detail for display test result.l 5. IDLE status. Maybe as follow: waiting for start test.: enter mode successful, waiting for reading from the phone.: All items pass.: Not all items pass.l 6. Connect information. USB Communication or UART Communication.l 7. Test Statistics. Pass: pass count; Fail: fail count; Pass Ratio: pass ratio. l 8. Operation area. Clear: clear “Test Statistics”. Start : begin to test.3.2 Mode Selectl 1. Mode Selection. If you want to use “Calibration Mode”, Please select USB in Port. If you want to use “Normal Mode”, please select COMX in Port.In “Normal Mode”, the phone must be connected first, and then powered on, and to click Start button at the last.In “Calibration Mode”, must to click Write button at fist, and then powered on the phone. The V-BUS pin of the USB cable must be disconnected.l 2. Power control. If you want to control remote power, please check Remote Power Supply.DCS TYPE: There are four selections:Keithley 230X;Keithley 2304;Agilent 663XX;Agilent E36XX;GPIB TYPE: Maybe NI GPIB (IE488.2) or VISA GPIB.GPIB CARD: Range 0-3.GPIB ADDR: Range 0-30.VOLTAGE (V): Set by user.3.3 Set Figure 31 Setting Dialogl 1.
