Unit 7 Its raining.Writing一、教学背景分析 由于六、七单元都是学习进行时态,我们可以把这两个单元整合起来写一篇作文。第七单元还学习了由How引导的表示天气的特殊疑问句,使得学生描述人物活动更加具体生动,学生在拓展知识面的同时,提高对本课英语写作的兴趣,从而提高学习效率,增强自信心。二、整体设计思路写作前的输入途径,首先复习学生学过的活动短语为基础,再通过造句巩固进行时态,最后通过小组活动化句为篇,为学生写作构建好框架,并帮助基础薄弱的学生梳理出写作提纲,为下一步自己动笔写作做好准备。三、Teaching Aims1.Knowledge Objects:(1)Function: To train students writing skills.(2)Key Vocabulary: talk on the phone, clean the floor, play soccer, read a book. (3)Target Language: The weather is. He/She is. They are .2.Ability Objects: Talk about what people are doing. 3.Moral Objects: (1) To help students realize the important of cooperation.(2) To be able to protect animals. 四、Teaching key points.(1)To prepare students to write using the target language.(2)To improve students writing skills.5、 Teaching difficult points.How to teach students to use better words and patterns to writes the article.6、 Teaching aids. Teaching ProceduresStepGreetings (about30seconds)Greet the class.T: Hows the weather?Ss: Its.Step2. Revision.(about 4minutes) Revise some activities about sports and at home. .T: We have learned many activities about sports , right?Can you remember? Lets play a game, memory challenge.Ill give you 30 seconds to remember them , then you must say out them in order but you can see them.S1:Let me try. .T: Good memory. Next pictures.S2: Let me try.T: Well done.Step3. Make up sentences .(5minutes) Look at the pictures and make up sentences.T: Now , please look at the picture, who can use I to make up a sentence?S1: .T:Well done!“ He” .Who can try?S1:Let me try.T: Excellent !Use the same way to learn the other pictures. Sept4. Group work.(10minutes)1.T: Look at the picture. Each of you must say a sentence.Then make up a short passage .2.The students develop the group work.3.When a group finishes the activity, they should stand up and say their passage.4.Teacher can choose the best group and give praise.Step5.Writing:(15 minutes) 1.Ask students to write a passage entitled “Happy Sunday” .Before writing, teacher give students some writing guide.While students are writing, teacher walks around and offers help to them, especially those whose English are poor.2. If students finish,have them correct the articles by themselves.Then change to correct the articles in the group and score them. Sept6Share some articles in the class.(10minutes)Show some articles in front of the class.And share them with the whole class.An
