Language skills 1.1 Students are able to ask and answer questions about subjects by using “what, why, who” questions. 1.2 Ss will be able to describe the favorite subjects and teachers, and tell the reasons.1.3. Ss are able to describe their favorites beside subjects. 2. Language knowledge2.1 Ss learn some names of subjects such as science, P.E., history. 2.2 Ss have a review of some description words: interesting, exciting, fun, relaxing, difficult, and boring.2.3 Ss can use and answer these questions:(1)-Whats your favorite subject?-My favorite subject is(2)-Why do you like?-Because its(3)-Who is yourteacher?-My teacher is3. Moral Objectives 3.1 Ss will be able to cooperate with their partners or group mates.3.2 Ss will have a sense to love their school and teachers.教学设计:根据教材内容和学生的实际基础设定了这个教学目标本单元围绕“My favorite subject” 展开教学活动,讨论学校的课程设置以及对学生对各门课程的喜好程度,并以此为基础讨论自己每日的学习安排。通过本课学习,要求学生能够熟练掌握“what ,why, who” 结合课程的特殊疑问句的表达法并能给出相应回答。并且通过描述自己最喜爱的学科及老师,学会爱学校,爱同学和爱老师。并提高语言交际能力。.Focuses:1. Vocabulary: names of subjects such as science, P.E., biology; 2. Sentences: Whats your favorite subject? My favorite subject is science. Why do you like science? Because its interesting. Who is your science teacher? My science teacher is Mrs. Dong. 3. Topics: Favorite subjects本课的重点是学科的名称以及对最喜欢的学科和老师的谈论。. Difficult points:1. What, why, who questions and their answers.2. The use of possessive pronouns.学会 “ what, why, who” 引导的特殊疑问句及其回答是本课的难点。1. Teaching aids:Projector, multi-media, some cards.多媒体运用和游戏的设计使教学内容更生动形象,能激发起学生学习兴趣,使学生热情参与学习,提高了课堂教学效率。5.Learning&teaching arrangement:StepsTeaching procedureStudents activitiesTeachers activities设计思路1Enjoy a song“Do you like”Sing and tell the teacher and the other students what they like. Show some pictures and guide them to answer with singing.由歌曲引入学生喜爱的事物导入话题,同时活跃了课堂气氛,激发了学生积极性,体现“在玩中学”的原则。2Lead-in: Guess what the teachers favorite food/ sport/ movie or instrument.Tell students the answers.让学生回忆“favorite”的相关句型。并通过instrument引出music自然导入到本课时的话题subject。3A game:“quick eyes”Stand up and tell the subjects they see.Play the PPT and guide Ss to get the right answer.通过游戏让学生巩固已经学过的学科。4Work on 1a1b1cGuess what subjects do other schools have?, then finish 1a1bFirst ask Ss to find what subjects they have. then ask the Ss to finish 1a1b通过听录音复习已学的课程名称,并根据录音内容自然引入下一个阶段 5PresentationAnswer the question “My/His/Her favorite subject is”Ask students “Whats your/his/her favorite subject?”引出本单元重点句型“Whats your favorite subject?” “My favorite subject is ”6Pair workAsk and answer in pairs to practice the conversation.Guide students to say “His/Her favorite subject is通过同桌对话,让每个学生都得到更多说得机会,有利于该句型的掌握,同时结合第三人称的问答。培养学生合作学习的能力。7PresentationAnswer the question “Why do you like” “Because its”Ask the question “why do you like”“Do you like math/?”“Why?”引出本单元重点句型“why do you like ” “Because its ”并引导学生使用一些描述型词汇。8Work on 2a, 2bListen and finish 2a,2bPlay the tape培养学生听的能力,在听的过程中复习该句型。9Pair workAsk and answer in pairs to practice the conversation.Ask students to do pair work通过同桌对话,让每个学生都得到更多说得机会,有利于该句型的掌握,并丰富描述性词汇的运用。同桌问答培养了学生合作学习的能力。10Play a game“Tell me, tell me, say you, say me.”Say “tell me, tell me, say you, say me.” to choose one student to answer these two questions “what your favorite subject is? Why do you like ?”Control the PPT and guide the students to ask and answer these questions.通过游戏寓教于乐,使合作学习的形式不在单一呈现。充分调动学生的学习积极性更好的掌握该句型。11Pair workAsk and answer “who is our teacher? Ourteacher is”Show some pictures of of teachers and make teach-ers names as a “heart”通过展示各位任课老师的卡通图片活跃课堂气氛,让学生摆脱老师一贯严肃的印象,在轻松的环境下掌握该句型。最后由老师名字组成的心形图案使学生爱老师的情绪油然而生。12Group work:Make a chantChant with the teacher.Work in groups and make a chant about their favorites. Chant about my favorite Subject with the music.And ask Ss to chant with teacher twice. Ask Ss to make a chant.通过诵唱的形式对整堂课的内容进行整合。并鼓励学生诵唱其他已经学过的内容如:学科,运动,乐器等等。使学生在合作学生中互补互助,复习整堂课学过的内容。同时丰富了课堂形式。13Moral educationSee some pictures of teachers and say “thank you” to all the teachers in the classroom.Show some pictures of teachers and show a thanks letter to express how hard working the teachers are. Ask Ss to say “thank you” to all the teachers.通过展示各位任课老师辛勤工作的照片,配合音乐独白和一封感谢信让学生对老师的尊敬感激之情油然而生。使他们更加爱老师,爱学习,爱学校。14Homework1. Make a survey among your parents: what are their favorites? (Sport, food, color, clothes, movie) Why?2. Write a thanks letter to your favorite teacher.课后通过调查父母最喜欢的东西更加了解父母喜好,爱自己的父母。写感谢信给最喜爱的老师,让学生们更加爱老师,从而认真学习,珍惜老师的劳动成果。板书:Unit12 My favorite subject is science. Whats your favorite subject?
