Unit 10 If you go to the party, youll have a great time!(Reading)一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词:travel, agent, expert, keepto oneself, themselves, teenager, normal, unless, certainly, wallet, worried, mile, angry, in the end, understanding, careless, mistake, himself, careful, advise, solve, step, trust, experience, in half, halfway2) 能掌握以下句式结构: What do you think I should do? Can you give some advice? I think I should go to college. But If I go to college, Ill never become a great soccer player. 2. 情感态度价值观目标: 学习因果关系的表达和做出合理的建议。谈论自己的感受,同时使学生在英语交流中注意并观察他人的情感。由于本单元话题贴近学生生活,符合他们热爱休闲的心理,可以提高他们学习英语的兴趣,积极参与英语实践活动。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 掌握本课时出现的生词及表达方式。2) 阅读短文,获得相关信息,提高学生们的综合阅读能力。2. 教学难点阅读2b部分的短文并完成相关要求。 三、教学过程. Warming up and revision1. Daily greeting. Check the homework. 2. 头脑风暴: Show a picture of “a lot of money”. Ask Ss “What will you do if you have a lot of money?”, Let Ss think and give their answers one by one. S1: If I have a lot of money, Ill buy a big house for my parents. S2: If I have a lot of money, Ill build a new road for my village. S3: If I have a lot of money, Ill build a new school for our town. 学生们进行评比,看谁的想法最好。. Presentation1. Say, Money is very important! Make a list of questions in your group. V. Reading 1. T: Read the three statements below and then skim the passage. Which statement expresses the main idea of the passage? 2. Robert Hunt advises students about common problems.advise v. “劝告;建议”。advise sb. about / on sth.就某事向某人提出建议e.g. We can advise you about / on health.advise sb. to do sth.建议某人做某事advise sb. not to do sth.建议某人不要做某事e.g. Jim advised me to leave London. I strongly advise you not to do this. advise名词形式为advice,“劝告;建议”。是不可数名词,表示“一条建议”用“a piece / word of advice”。e.g. Let me give you a piece / word of advice.【链接】give sb. advice给某人建议take ones advice接受某人的建议follow ones advice遵循某人的建议【拓展】suggestion为可数名词,提议;建议。【运用】.单项选择。1.
