人教版新目标英语七下 Unit 7 Its raining.教学设计一、教学内容1教材:人教版(2012年10月出版)新目标英语(Go for it!)七年级下册Unit7 Its raining第一课时。 2学习内容:(1)国家、城市以及城市的天气。(2)形容词和动名词表达天气状况。(3)构词法:名词词尾加y变成形容词。二、学生分析 1通过学习七年级地理和新目标英语七年级上的学习,学生已经掌握了世界五大洲及主要国家的地理位置。他们基本懂得用英文表达并书写国家及城市的名字。更重要的是,经过近一年的任务型语言教学的训练,大部分学生已经养成良好的英语学习习惯,能够在课堂上听懂老师的全英文指令,并且能够根据老师的要求用目标语言完成各项任务。四人小组或二人小组成员有良好的合作意识,能够迅速有效地开展各项活动。2天气的表达对学生来说是第一次出现的新语言。学生需要描述世界各地的天气状况和气温状况,新单词比较多,学生在记忆这些新单词时可能有一定的难度。因此教会他们运用构词法记忆单词在这节课显得犹为重要。 三、设计思想天气这个话题与现实生活密切相关。很多学生有看电视天气预报的习惯。所以学生对这个话题涉及到的相关背景知识十分熟悉,如天气情况的图示等。因此,本课时主要运用任务型语言教学法。让学生通过小组合作完成两个任务达到学习目标语言的目的。一是在专业的天气预报网站查找各个城市的天气情况并做记录。二是根据记录的天气信息做一个天气报告,而其他同学在听报告的过程中要记录他们所听到的信息。 四、教学目标1知识与技能(1)掌握用动名词表达天气状况。(2)掌握用形容词表达天气和气温状况。(3)认识世界著名的大城市及其天气。2过程与方法(1)通过多媒体课件展示新单词和句型,由学生归纳构词法。(2)通过听报告的方式完成记录天气信息的任务。(3)通过重复所记录的信息达到自我检查的目的,同时也给还没完成任务的同学提供第二次机会。3情感态度与价值观(1)通过小组合作完成任务,培养学生团结合作的意识。(2)通过谈论天气,了解一些地理常识。 五、教学的重点和难点1重点(1)目标语言:What is the weather like in.?How is the weather in.? Its rainyraining(2)国外城市的读音和拼写。(3)名词转换成形容词的构词法。2难点:城市名字的拼写。六教学过程. Warming-up and Lead in 1. Greet the Ss and check the homework. 2. Talk about the date and lead in the topic of weather.T: Whats the date today?Ss: Its .T: Right. So its late spring now. The weather is good today. Look at the sun/clouds/rain/wind! How is the weather today? Its sunny/cloudy/windy/rainy.3.Show the aims of this class ,tell the students what they will learn in this class. Presentation 1. (Show some pictures of the weather) Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is. Teach the new words; sunny windy cloudy rainy snowy. Ss learn the new words and expressions with the help of the pictures. 2. Look at the pictures in 1a. Then read the new words on the right. Ask the Ss to match the words with pictures. 3. Check the answers. . Game (Hows the weather?) 1. (Showing some pictures on the big screen.) Ask Ss Hows the weather? 2. Ss guess and answer the question. . Listening 1.T: Now lets look at the city names in the box in 1b. Please read after me. Ss read the cities after the teacher. 2.T: Now, Well hear four conversations. Listen carefully, point out each city in the picture as it comes upon the tape. Play the recording a second time. Ask Ss to write the name of the city in the picture of its weather. 3. Check the answers. . Pair work 1. Tell the Ss: If you are in one of the places in the picture above. Talk about the weather with your friends in another city on the phone. 2. Make a model with a student like this: T: Hi! Hows the weather in Beijing? S1: Its sunny. 3. Ss work in pairs. Ask and answer about the weather in the cities. . Listening 1. Work on 2a. Lets see what Joes families are doing. Point to the 4 pictures. 2. Ask Ss tell each person is doing in each picture. More attentions should be paid to the correct use of the Present Progressive Tense. 3. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the pictures 1-4. 4. Play the tape for Ss to check the answers.5. With the whole picture, get some Ss to tell the story of it. 6. Brainstorming Play the tape for another time. Then do a memory test. Ask Ss: Whats Uncle Joe/Jeff/Mary/Aunt Sarah doing? Whatre Scott and Lucy doing? Is Jeff watching TV? etc. 7. Let Ss match the names with the activities in 2b. Play the recording for the Ss to check the answers. . Pair work 1. Look at the pictures and talk about the people in 2a with a partner. 2. Ask a student the questions as a model: T: Whats Uncle Joe doing? S1: Hes playing basketball. 3. Ss work in pairs. Ask and answer about the pictures. . Role-play 1. Ask Ss to read the conversation and answer the questions: Whats Steve doing? Whats Ricks brother doing? Ss read the conversations and answer t
