Revision ( The structures of passive voice):1. 一般现在时态的被动语态: am / is/ are + V-过去分词2. 一般过去时态的被动语态: was / were + V-过去分词3. 一般将来时态的被动语态: will / shall + be + V-过去分词4. 现在完成时态的被动语态:have/ has + been + V-过去分词II. Language points(现在进行时态的被动语态)1. 结构:am/ is/ are ( not) + being + V-过去分词2. 意义:表示“正在被做”3. 用法:考纲及课程标准研读动词的时态和语态是历年高考英语测试的重中之重,一般占1-2道题。命题思路有三:一是直接给出标志性时间状语,考生能依据所给时间状语作出选择;二是给出时间状语,但所给时间状语有着较强的干扰性,考生不能直接根据时间状语作出选择,需要结合语境判断;三是没有任何时间状语,需要借助于上下文语境,才能作出正确判断。考生应熟知常用时态和被动语态的构成及用法。高考题往往不会涉及单一的时态语态,而是更多地侧重于时态的交叉使用和呼应及与语态的结合使用。所以解题时一定要结合语境,弄清时间的先后关系,可根据不同情况采取找标法(寻找时间标志词)、呼应法(主从句时态呼应)、搭配法(固定搭配)、语境法等解题技巧。教材分析与学情分析教材分析:(1)本节课内容是人民教育出版社New Senior English for China, Students Book 2, Unit 4 The Wildlife Protection Discovering Useful Structuresthe Present Progressive Passive Voice .(2)课前学生已在前面几单元学习了其他时态的被动语态,为本节课语法点的学习做了铺垫。另外,在本单元的Warming up 和Reading中学习了与现在进行时态的被动语态有关的一些内容,这为本节课步骤2和步骤3 的活动设计提供了话题。(3)现在进行时态的被动语态比较容易掌握,因此可以在完成教材所提供的学习任务的基础上,增加在真实交际中综合运用语言的实践活动,如写报告、计划书等。学情分析: (1)高一学生通过义务教育阶段的学习,对英语已经有了一定的感性认识,并积累了一定的语言材料,他们对语法知识的系统学习有较强烈的要求,但又不喜欢“灌输式”的语法讲解,他们渴望探究型、合作型的学习。(2)学生在前几单元内容的教学中已学习了一般现在时、一般过去时、一般将来时及现在完成时态的被动语态,而现在进行时态的主动语态和被动语态又有一定的联系,所以对于学生来说也不是太难掌握。(3)虽然是普通中学的学生,但经过高一大半学期的学法指导,他们已有一定的自主学习能力,在课内活动中能积极配合教师的教学,有较强的提高英语能力的愿望。教学过程Step 1 Grammar RevisionReview the structures of passive voice.5. 一般现在时态的被动语态: am / is/ are + V-过去分词6. 一般过去时态的被动语态: was / were + V-过去分词7. 一般将来时态的被动语态: will / shall + be + V-过去分词8. 现在完成时态的被动语态:have/ has + been + V-过去分词Step 2 Lead-inAsk students to complete the sentences according to the text. And then let them discover what structure is used in the sentences. 1. We are being killed for the wool beneath our stomachs.2. Our fur is being used to make sweaters for people like you.3. I wonder what is being done to help you.4. So good things are being done here to save local wildlife.Step 3 Summary of the structures1. Show students the basic structure of the present progressive passive voice. And get students to know what it means.现在进行时态的被动语态:(1) 构成:am/ is/ are + being + V-过去分词 (2) 意义:表示“正在被做”2. Show students several sentences about the present progressive passive voice and let them summarize the structures of each sentence by themselves. Then check the answers together. (1)肯定句:A new library is being built now.(2)否定句:Some animals are not being protected well enough.(3)一般疑问句:Is the bridge being repaired now?3. Teacher show the different structures on the screen and ask students to take notes.(1)肯定句:be (am/ is/ are) + being + V-过去分词(2)否定句:be (am/ is/ are) + not + being + V-过去分词(3)一般疑问句:Be (Am/ Is/ Are) + 主语 + being + V-过去分词(4) 特殊疑问句:疑问词+ be (am/ is/ are) + 主语+ being + V-过去分词Step 4 Presentation Present the usages of the present progressive passive voice(1)表示说话时正在进行或发生的被动动作,常与now, look等词连用。E.g. She is being examined by the doctor now.(2)表示现阶段或目前这段时间正在进行的被动动作, 但这一被动动作在此时此刻不一定正在发生。 E.g. They are being taught English at present .(3)表示一种经常性或习惯性的被动行为,常与always, forever, continually, constantly等词连用,往往带有赞扬、责备、厌烦及埋怨等感情色彩。E.g. Tom is always being praised by the teacher. (4)与情态动词连用,表示对现在正在发生的被动行为的推测。E.g. John is not here. He must be being interviewed.注意: (1) 助动词am/ is/ are和being缺一不可,并且不可以颠倒顺序。(2) be + under / in +n. 的结构可以表示现在进行时的被动语态的含义。E.g. The problem is under discussion now. = The problem is being discussed now.The telephone is in use. = The telephone is being used.Step 5 Practice1.
