T: Now please look at these pictures, class. What can you see in the pictures? Ok? First, please read the passage and find the main idea of each paragraph. Para1: Strange things were happening in the countryside of northeast Hebei.Para2: At 3:42 am everything began to shake.Para3: Everywhere they looked nearly everything was destroyed.Para4: All hope was not lost.Activity 5 Parts division (5 mins) T: Now I would like you to divide the whole passage into several parts according to your understanding and find a key word for each part.
