How to talk about where things are ,learn the using of preposition.Teaching procedure:STEP 1. Lead-inGreet to the students and ask them:“ oh,no!I cant find my key, where is my key? Who can help me?” then use things in class to teach the prepositions: on, in, under, behind, in front of.STEP 2. New wordsShow the pictures of sofa, bed, chair and so on and ask them:“Where is the schoolbag?” “Its in front of the bed.” Teach the new words like this. STEP 3. Lets chantCheck the new words like this:Table, table, on the table;Bed, bed, under the bed;Sofa, sofa, on the sofa;Chair, chair, under the chair.Bookcase, bookcase, in the bookcase;Schoolbag, schoolbag, in the schoolbag.STEP 4 .Pair workLet students make a conversation with the things around them using the sentence pattern: “where is /where are” STEP 5. ListeningListen to the tape twice and fill in the blanks. Then check the answers together. STEP 6.Find the differencesShow two different pictures and let the students find the same thing in the
