Some people believe the worst thing is to do nothing.2. Unless we talk to someone, well certainly fell worse.3. It is best not to run away from our problems. We should always try to solve them.2. 过程与方法: 在阅读过程中,训练略读、快读和精读三种策略。注意培养 学生逐词读,逐句读,反复读等阅读方法。3. 情感态度价值观: 在日常的生活中难免会遇到一些问题和麻烦,注意培养学生以积极的心态去面对,找到合适的处理方法。谈论自己的感受,同时使学生在英语交流中注意并观察他人的情感。由于本单元话题贴近学生生活,可以提高他们学习英语的兴趣,积极参与英语实践活动。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 掌握本课时出现的生词及表达方式。2.) 阅读短文,获得相关信息。2. 教学难点1.独立的完成2d的内容 。 三、教学过程. Warming up and revision1. Discuss the two questions :What kinds of things do you worry about? If you have problems , what will you do? . Reading 1. Skim the passage, find out the main idea of this passage.a. If people have problems, they should get advice from an expert. b. If people have problems, they should talk to other people. c. If people have problems, they should keep them to themselves. 2.Read the passage carefully.and answer the four questions.If necessary , discuss them with a partner.1). What is the worst thing to do if you have a problem? _2) Why didnt Laura want to tell her parents about her lost wallet? _3).What is the first thing you should do when you want to solve a problem? _4).Why can our parents give us good advice about our problems?.Listen to the passage .Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.3.Listen to the tape.Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.4.All the students read the passage loudly.(If necessary ,give them help)5.Ask three students to read the passage.6.The class read it one sentence by sentence ,one by one.说明:通过全班同学一人读一句,不允许重复的方式极大地调动了学生的积极性,能够让学生们主动的参与到课堂中来。. Explanation 1. Show the passage on the screen ,ask a student to read the first paragraph ,then the teacher explain the language points on the screen and give some examples,and ask students to answer two questions. 分段处理每段当中的知识点,并相应的回答问题,这些问题的设置主要是为复述文章2d做准备。以此方法处理后两段的内容。. Retell.Retell the passage according to these questions.1.What does the writer talk about in the passage?2.Whats Laura Mills opinion about how to deal with problems?3.Whats Lauras story and what did she learn from it?4.How does Robert think we should solve our problems?5.What advice does he give teenagers?有问题作为提示降低了难度,又提高了学生综合运用语言的能力。. Work on 2d lets read the short passage and the phrases in 2d. Fill in the blanks with the phrases in the box. If you dont sure about what to fill. You can go through the passage in 2d. Ss try to fill in the blanks with the right forms. Check the answers together . 方法指导:首先,通读这七个词组的意思;然后,再读这篇小短文的意思,根据自己的印象,用方框时里的单词填空;认真理解每个空格处的意思,填上正确的答案。.
