The pronunciation of the word: question 2. to create a new sentence and perform it outThe teaching procedure:Step1: lead-in: enjoy some pictures of moviesT: do you like movies? Lets enjoy some pictures!look! This is the Surperman. This is the spiderman and this is the frozen. This is the Hamlet. All these are good movies and good performance. So how to make a good performance. I will share three skills with you.Step2: presentation1. The first skill is dramatic faces.T: what is dramatic face? You can use your eyes, nose and mouth to express your emotions.Lets have a try. Try some emotions: happy, sad, angry.T:now lets try to read the following sentences with your emotions.Sentences:1. Its rainy. Read it with a sad face.2. its time to go to school. Read it with a happy face. 3. Oh, my god! Read it with a angry face.2. There is a very famous sentence in the play Hamlet. Now lets read this sentence: to be or not , that is the question.3. Lets try to read this sentence with different faces. Ask some students to show it out.4. The second skill is the dramatic body.5. T: what is dramatic body. I will show you some pictures. For example, you can do this gesture when you read this sentence. Now, cooperate with your group members to read this sentence with different gestures.6. The third skill is the dramatic voice. Lets enjoy a video and see the magical power of voice.T: what are they doing? They are discussing how to read this sentence and which word should be stressed. What is stress? I will show you.To be or not to be, that is the question.To be or not to be, that is the question. To be or not to be, that is the question.Now, try to read this sentence with different stress.Step3: consolidationT: to be or not to be, that is the question of Hamlet. I also have a question. I am hungry, but I want to lose weight. So to eat or not to eat, that is the question. What is your question. Discuss in group and act it out.Step4: conclusionYou all make a good performance.
