Unit 2This is my sister.第一课时Section A 1a1c教学设计 教学目标1. 记忆单词mother, father, parent, grandmother, grandfather, grandparent, sister, brother, friend, family, those, these, who; 缩写词 thats, whos, shes。2.掌握和运用介绍他人、辨认人物的句型:This is my sister.Thats my family.These are my brothers.Those are my parents.Whos she?Shes my sister.Whore they?Theyre my friends.3.能够正确使用指示代词this, that, these, those和疑问代词who引导的特殊疑问句。4.通过图片学习表示家庭成员的单词,利用图片提供语境进行听力训练,通过两人一组合作角色扮演的方式,在情景交际中练习介绍人物、辨认他人的句型,提高英语听、说能力。5.能礼貌地进行人物介绍。6.掌握名词复数形式的部分规则变化。学情分析 初一的新生刚进入中学阶段学习,他们对身边的同学还不是很了解,本单元的话题正为他们的加深了解创造了良好的机会,再加上他们希望自己的表现能很快得到同学和老师的认可,所以他们的热情和参与度都比较高。教师应设法激发他们的学习兴趣并设计各种任务型的课堂活动让学生人人都能参与活动,增强他们的英语学习积极性和学习自信心。大部分同学对于家庭成员的名称有所了解,如何使学生在已有知识的前提下,掌握本单元的知识并进行提升,是我们在备课中应考虑到的问题。该年龄段的学生有很强的记忆力和模仿能力,但知识的拓展和运用的能力有待培养。我们教师要充分利用这一点在教学课本知识的同时,教会学生创造性地使用所学知识运用于实践。 教学内容1.学会运用表示家庭成员的名词和介绍他人的句型:This is my sister. Thats my family. These are my brothers. Those are my parents.。2.学会辨认他人的句型:Whos she? Shes my sister. Whore they? Theyre my friends.。3.初步学会使用名词的复数和与复数一起搭配的谓语动词。 教学重难点1.正确使用本课时词汇(指示代词,单、复数形式的名词以及谓语动词)和句型表明人物之间的关系。2.名词的单复数与谓语动词的搭配一致性的使用。3.注意英汉之间的思维差异。 教学思路本课时的教学内容是人教版七年级英语第二单元的第一课时,重点在于引导学生观看图片,理解语境,通过David一家的图片创设介绍人物和辨认人物的语境,引入本单元的话题、基本词汇和基本目标语言。以活动引起学生的兴趣、任务,以听和说为主,学习介绍人物和辨认他人的句型和学习表示家庭成员关系的单词。因此,教师可以将知识目标定为掌握本课时出现的单词,用于介绍人物的句型和辨认人物的疑问句。情感目标定为培养学生的学习习惯和兴趣,了解英汉的思维差异和学会有礼貌地介绍人物。教学准备设计教学PPT,录音机,多媒体,课本插图,相应地表示家庭成员关系的图片,全家福照片等。教学过程与活动Step . Lead in Leading in Warming up by greeting and introducing others (师生互动对话). T: Hello! Good morning.S: Hi! Good morning.T: How are you?S: Im fine, thanks. And you?T: Im fine, too. Whats your name?S: My name is.T: Nice/Glad to meet/see you!S: Nice/Glad to meet/see you, too.In this way, the teacher gets the students to come to the new units learning.告诉学生在本单元要学习另一种介绍用语,即:介绍家庭成员。教师提问学生:How many people are there in your family? Who are they?设计意图利用复习学过的介绍人物、问候他人的句型创设语境,自然过渡到本单元的新话题。Step .New words (1a)1. Presentation by showing photos of Liu Xings family(来自电视剧家有儿女).T: Look at this photo. Its a photo of Liu Xing. (Point to the persons and teach the new words.)This is Liu Xing. This is his father. This is his mother. These are his parents.That is his grandmother. That is his grandfather. Those are his grandparents.Shes his sister. Hes his brother. Theyre his friends. (Pay attention to the pronunciation of / /:/ /e/ / / / / in the new words.)2. The teacher writes the topic sentences on the blackboard and gets the class to read it. (1a)3. T: Please read the words in 1a and look at the people in the picture. Match the words with the people in the picture.Ss read and learn the new words in 1a, match the words with the people in the picture by themselves and then check their work in class.T: Read the words after me, and this time point to the people in the picture, e.g, mother.Ss: (Point to it and read) Mother.The teacher should remind the students of the differences between the two languages.教材解读(口头说明):英汉语言中,家庭成员称谓的不同之处:学习英语的时候,要注意有些有趣的语言文化常识。例如,在英语表达中,不管是“爸爸的爸爸”(fathers father)还是“妈妈的爸爸”(mothers father),都是同一个单词,即:grandpa “爷爷”和“外公”,grandfather “祖父”和“外祖父”;同样,grandma 是“奶奶”(fathers mother)和“外婆”(mothers mother),grandmother是“祖母”和“外祖母”。另外,brother是“哥哥或弟弟”;sister是“姐姐或妹妹”。【Keys】 1a: 1.a2.c3.b4.h5.f6.e 7.i8.d9.g 设计意图运用图片教学表示家庭成员的名词,更加形象,运用课本插图感知介绍人物关系的语境有利于学生理解。同时结合英汉语言文化的差异,让学生准确地学习课时内容。Step .Listening activities (1b)1. Before listening, ask the class to read the dialogue in the picture.T: Now write the English words next to the persons in the picture.Ss write the words next to the persons in the picture and prepare for the listening.2. T: Listen to the recording, please. David is introducing his family. Circle the words you hear.Play the recording of the conversation. Get the Ss to perceive the situation of the conversation and pay attention to the words and sentence patterns.T: Which words do you circle?Ss: Parents, brothers, grandparents and sister. (If the Ss cant answer, play the tape again.)3. Play the conversation again, Ss read it by following the radio, and ask the students to focus on the demonstrative pronouns: this, that, these and those.T: Now listen again. How does he introduce his family?Play the tape for Ss to find the answers. The teacher writes the sentences in two columns, “introducing people” and “identifying people”. Then practice the conversation, and ask 3 pairs to perform it in front of the classroom to compete. (Choose the best pair).T: Now, in pairs, suppose you are David, talk about your family. Dont read the sentences in 1c but only look at the picture. Saying:This is Davids/hisThats hisOr:These/Those are hisA: Thats Davids family. Those are his parents.B: Whos she?A: Shes Davids sister. And those are his grandparents.Ss practice talking about Davids family in pairs and in small groups. Then ask pairs of students to act out the dialogue in class.设计意图学习介绍人物和辨认他人的句型之后,先朗读巩固,总结要点,再转变成介绍David的家庭成员,训练对话,培养学生的听说能力。Step . 名词复数的规则变化:一般情况下在词尾加s。如 pen pens以s, x, sh, ch结尾的词加es。如 bus buses以辅音字母加y结尾的词,变y为i,再加es 。 如 family families 特殊不规则: 如 manmen (男人) woman women (女人) Step .
