We look at the titles and headlines, the first or last sentence of paragraphs and the first or last paragraph as well as pictures and charts to guess what the text is about.When we want to find some information in a text quickly, we scan the text for key words and phrase, dates, numbers, etc. We do not need to read the whole text word by word.Task 1: Skimming Read the text quickly and then choose the correct answers.1.
