A Country Music Song Changed Her Life Forever(八下 Go for it Unit 8) (Section B 2a-2e )Reading教学设计太原第三十七中学校李 莎教 学 设 计 首 页课题Unit 8 Have you read Treasure Island yet?(Section B 2a-2e)课型阅读课教学课时1授课日期2016.5.9课标依据本课时体现了新课标话题(55)中的音乐话题,文化意识层面上了解世界上主要的文娱(音乐)活动,以通过养成阅读兴趣和良好的阅读习惯,以阅读技巧的渗透让学生基本掌握阅读策略为目的,能根据不同的阅读目的运用篇章的阅读策略获取信息。教材分析本课时的主题是“音乐”(Music),单元整体性设计要求能谈论最近发生的事情和事件(Talk about recent events and experiences)。本课时呈现了与音乐相关的词汇,巩固目标语言现在完成时的认识和理解。通过阅读文章,获取信息,把握各段落核心,培养学生归纳段落大意的能力,在此基础上对整篇文章的大意进行总结(summarizing)。整个过程层层递进,由浅入深,先输入,再输出,逐步提升学生综合语言运用的能力。学情分析该部分阅读涉及到美国乡村音乐,中国学生可能并不熟悉,因此在读前需要适当增加相关背景知识的介绍,学唱乡村音乐歌曲来增加文化积累,调动学生学习兴趣。此阶段学生属于八年级下,已经具备一定的英语综合能力,但是本单元的现在完成时是初次学到,学生感知较为陌生,需要大量的语言输入,在阅读能力培养下进行大意概括的能力是难点。教学目标知识与技能1. 知识目标 词汇: forever, abroad, actually, fan, southern, modern, success, belong, one another, laughter, beauty, million, record, 短语:country music, ever since2. 技能目标 通过阅读技能的训练,掌握一定的阅读技巧,通过make notes和underline的方法,引导学生在阅读过程中能借助关键信息对文本大意进行归纳或概述(summarizing)。过程与方法利用任务型及合作式教学法,通过教师为辅,学生为主的教学原则,训练学生在阅读中获取信息、处理信息和运用信息的能力。情感态度与价值观了解美国乡村音乐的背景知识,学唱英文歌,增加文化积累,开阔视野;让学生在小组合作中学习英语,增加学习热情和团结协作精神。教学重点与难点重点:用现在完成时来谈论最近发生的事件或经历。难点:引导学生在阅读过程中能借助关键信息对文本大意进行归纳或概述。教学具准备多媒体课件,音乐音频,歌词教 学 设 计 流 程 教学步骤活动设计课堂调控Lead-in课前播放英文歌曲Take me home, country roads,师生共唱。上课时教师根据课前所唱的英文歌自然与学生交流。1. Is there a famous country music place in Nashville?What is it?学生回答后呈现乡村音乐名人堂的照片,提升感知能力。4.
