Unit 2 I think that mooncakes are delicious!Section B教学模式介绍探究式课堂教学模式的教学环节:创设情境启发思考自主(或小组)探究协作交流总结提高探究式教学模式是指在教学过程中,要求学生在教师指导下,通过以“自主、探究、合作”为特征的学习方式对当前教学内容中的主要知识点进行自主学习、深入探究并进行小组合作交流,从而较好地达到课程标准中关于认知目标与情感目标要求的一种教学模式。 同时侧重小组研究和小组活动,关注学生自主性。设计思路说明【创设情境】结合实际情况,询问学生离现在最近的(或者刚刚庆祝过的)节日是什么?引入今天的教学内容。然后通过思维导图带领学生巩固A部分学习的中国的节日短语。【启发思考】 教师板书或者通过课件呈现一组我国的重要节日的具体日期,巩固中国节日的相关知识。然后教师利用幻灯片或者课件呈现一些西方节日的日期,提出问题激发学生的好奇心,教授学生学习外国节日的说法及相关背景知识。【自主或小组探究】教师引导学生完成1a-2d的练习,熟悉了解圣诞节的相关文化背景知识和表达。学生通过课本听力的训练,来学习万圣节的相关习俗和内容。通过文章中的重点短语和段落大意的学习,完成文章前提出的问题,完成表格内容,对文章进行总结,理解文章的内容。【协作交流】 学生通过完成角色扮演活动,加深对课文中人物和相关知识的了解,增强对圣诞节的认识,提高自己的口头表达和沟通交流能力。【总结提高】 通过3a和3b层层递进设置写作任务,让学生用学过的知识对自己最喜欢的中国节日进行讨论和尝试通过课本提供的短语进行写作训练,达到巩固提高的效果。教材分析本单元的主题是谈论节日,所有活动均围绕节日话题开展。学生在活动中不仅掌握了宾语从句、感叹句等语法知识,学习到了很多关于中西方节日的文化,此外,有关节日的阅读及写作等环节的设置,也可以达到培养学生的语言运用能力的目的。Section B主要围绕西方的两个节日-万圣节和圣诞节来展开,主要介绍西方国家的节日文化,侧重节日的文化内涵,让学生更深层次地理解西方文化。教师应当结合教学内容,引导学生关注语言和语言运用中的文化因素,了解中外文化的异同,逐步增强学生对不同文化的理解力,为开展跨文化交际做准备。教学目标【知识与能力目标】从语言上看,这一部分呈现了万圣节和圣诞节两个节日以及相关的专属文化词汇,并进一步强化对重点句型结构的学习。【过程与方法目标】听说入手-突出阅读-创写语篇【情感态度价值观目标】 该部分在于向学生传达一下信息:关爱,同情以及怜悯之心是人类社会的宝贵财富,人人应当将之继承以及弘扬,以爱心回报社会。教学重难点【教学重点】学习万圣节和圣诞节的习俗。【教学难点】万圣节和圣诞节的习俗和文化信息。课前准备 PPT课件教学过程1、 创设情境 【教师预设】1. 结合实际情况,询问学生离现在最近的(或者刚刚庆祝过的)节日是什么?引入今天的教学内容。2. 通过一个思维导图带领学生巩固A部分学习的中国的节日短语。【学生活动】1. 结合实际,积极发言回答老师问题。2. 通过思维导图整合有关的中国的节日生词,并通过头脑风暴补充更多的节日。二、启发思考【教师预设】1. 教师板书或者通过课件呈现一组我国的重要节日的具体日期,引导学生用英语说出这些节日的名称,巩固中国的节日相关知识。2. 教师利用幻灯片或者课件呈现一些西方节日的日期,提出问题激发学生的好奇心,教授学生学习外国节日的说法及相关背景知识。【学生活动】1. 观察图片,复习中国的节日,学习外国的节日,不仅要掌握节日的名称,还要了解节日背后的相关背景知识。2. 学生与教师共同交流讨论,熟悉万圣节、圣诞节的基本文化信息,为下一阶段的活动做好准备。三、自主或小组探究1. What is the true meaning or spirit of Christmas? The true spirit of Christmas is the importance of sharing and giving love and joy to people around us. 2c. Read the passage again and complete the chart. 2d. Answer the questions. Some answers need to be inferred.a. Why does Scrooge hate Christmas? Because Scrooge is mean and only thinks about himself. He doesnt treat others nicely, and he only cares about whether he can make more money. b. Does Scrooge have a lot of friends? Why or why not? No, he doesnt have a lot of friends. Because he wasnt nice to people, and never laughs or smiles. He is mean and only thinks about himself. c. Why was Jacob Marley punished after he died? He was punished because like Scrooge, he wasnt nice to others and only cared about money. d. Does Jacob Marley want to help Scrooge? How do you know? Yes, he does. Because Marleys ghost tried to warn Scrooge to change his ways so as not to end up like him. e. How does Scrooge feel when he wakes up on Christmas Day? He feels relieved because he was scared in his sleep and he is surprised and happy to have a chance to change his life, because it is only the next morning. f. What does Scrooge do after seeing three spirits? He decides to change his life and promises to be a better person. He happily celebrates Christmas with his relatives. He also gives gifts to people in need. He now treats everyone with kindness and warmth, spreading love and joy everywhere he goes. 【学生活动】完成2a, 2b, 2c, 2d的练习,熟悉了解圣诞节的相关文化背景知识,提高自己的阅读能力。四、协作交流【教师预设】让学生完成角色扮演活动。Role-play: In groups of four, make a conversation between the three ghosts and Scrooge about Christmas.
