Unit3 Welcome to our schoolGrammarPersonal pronounsAnalysis of the teaching materialThis is the grammar of unit3. It plays a very important role in English teaching. By studying this lesson, students will learn how to use personal pronouns. I will use the self-study method to help students understand the text and use the cooperation method to let students know how to use personal pronouns.Teaching aidsthe multi-media Teaching proceduresPart1 subject formStep1 Lead- in( 3)Show a picture to students and ask T: Who is he ? S: He is Jay Chou.T: Can you say something about him?S1: He is a pop star.S2: He is cool.Show three more pictures about my friends and ask students to pay attention to personal pronouns.(通过呈现周杰伦的照片引起学生兴趣,并且引出人称代词,再呈现班上同学的照片强调人称代词的主格,为下文学习作铺垫)Step2 Presentation( 10)Show students a table about the subject form of personal pronouns. Singular Plural Subject formIyouhesheitweyoutheyGive students some examples about how to use subject form.Tell students we can use personal pronouns to replace nouns for people or things. We use the subject form when the noun is the subject.Show students the following sentences:My name is Simon. I study in Beijing Sunshine Secdonary School. (I 代替Simon)Millie, are you in Class1? (you 代替Millie)Mr Wu is our English teacher. He teaches English very well. (he代替Mr Wu )Lily is my classmate. She is helpful and polite. (she代替Lily)This book is interesting. It is about cartoons. (it代替this book)Im Simon and this is Millie. We are in Grade 7. (we 代替Mille and I)Amy and Lily, do you have new school bags? (you 代替Amy and Lily)I have many friends. They are all helpful. (they 代替many friends)Ask students to discuss how the subject form replaces nouns.(展示所有的人称代词主格,并举例让学生明白如何使用人称代词主格)Step3 Practice( 5)Turn to page 35. Let students finish the dialogue.Millie: Mum, look at the pictures of my friends on the wall.Mum: Ok. Let me see. Is this Daniel?Millie: Yes, it is. Daniel is clever. _ is good at Maths. I often go shopping with her.(her 作介词with的宾语,代替Kitty)My uncle lives in Beijing .I live with him.(him作介词with的宾语,代替my uncle)(让学生明白人称代词的宾格如何使用)Step3 Discussion( 5)Pick up the object form of the personal pronouns1.My school is very beautiful. I love it very much.2. I often go shopping with her.3. Can you give me an apple?4. I have a lot of friends. Do you want to know them?5.Mr Wu teaches us English.6. I can help you with your homework.7.Let me have a look.8.Eddie is my dog.
