Present New WordsAfter the song, invite Ss to show their schoolbags, and then teacher picks up one schoolbag.T: Oh, your schoolbag is so heavy. Whats in your schoolbag?Ss: ruler, pen, pencil box, booksThen teacher puts up maths book, and ask them how to say it in English? Some may say it out, most of them do not know. Therefore, teacher writes the word in blackboard with appropriate writing format, and asks them to copy it down in exercise book, read it aloud at the same time. (Use the same way in Chinese book, English book, storybook.)Pay attention to several “ book” writing format.1. Finding “treasure” Take “maths book” as an example. Teacher asks one student come to the blackboard and turn around. Then teacher invites another student to hide the book. Then, the first student need to find maths book out. Other students read the word out. The more closer the student to the “maths book”, the lower voice they are. Otherwise, they need to read it louder.(This game can apply to maths book, English book, Chinese book, storybook.)2. Who is fastestSs put their English book, maths book, Chinese book, storybook, schoolbag on the desk.T: Show me your maths bookSs need to put up the book immediately according to the teachers word. Lets see who act it the fastest.T:Show me your storybook. Show me your schoolbag. 3. Lets do Play “Lets do” video, student enjoy it and try to read after it. Then Ss need to do as the video says. To see who does a great job in following the video. T: Look at the book 15. Lets read it together.Ss need to read it aloud to check their performance.1. Read the words loudly to your parents or your friend after class. 2. Copy the words “ maths book, English book, Chinese book, storybook, schoolbag” three times.2. Try to find out how to say other books in English.Use the real object, real books to teach English words, so that Ss can feel the word in proper situation. Its easier for them to understand and remember it. Write and read can impress them and improve their writing ability at the same time.Play such an interesting game can attract Ss attention, and they read the words out naturally at the same time.This game is to let Ss understand and remember those words Chinese meaning quickly by an interesting way.
