Permanent Residence (PR) orWork to Residence (WTR) orWork Visa (WV) ANDBeen in NZ for less than 2 years2. Candidates must have specific skills as required for ARMS projects.3. Candidates born either in New Zealand or Overseas but must have skills required by ARMS.Availability:Candidates applying to be a volunteer must be available to work:o A minimum of 5 hours per day - ANDo A minimum of 2 days per week1. Please answer each question fully.2. Provide a copy of your CV.3. The information you provide will be used by ARMS in considering your suitability for the volunteer position for which you are applying. We want to be sure that we are utilising your skills appropriately and matching you to the right kind of role here at ARMS.4. Short listed applicants will be requested to provide consent to checks conducted by the organisation.5. Any appointment to a position is provisional pending the outcome of the checks.6. I have read and fully understand and accept this Declaration.Signature:Date:CONSENT TO DISCLOSE INFORMATION NZ POLICETO THE APPLICANTAuckland Regional Migrant Services must ensure checks are conducted on all staff and volunteers into the organisation. The process used is New Zealand Police Vetting.The purpose of this process is to minimise the likelihood of more vulnerable members of society (i.e. children, disabled, aged, people with special needs) are not put at risk whilst in the organisation.The following computer checks are conducted: Criminal convictions (except traffic offences, parking fines)o (Subject to the Clean Slate Act 2004) Other information held by the New Zealand policeThe checks are conducted by the Licensing & Vetting Service Centre which is a branch of the New Zealand Police. The checks can only be conducted with the consent of the applicant.This information is confidential to the Employer. Police vetting is not a complete background check. It is however used as part of a robust recruiting and screening process for the organisation.Information gained from the New Zealand Police check will give the Employer a more informed assessment as to whether to recruit or place an applicant into the organisation or not.
