Unit 9 Communication Lesson 49 Get Along with Others 教材分析1. Analysis of the Students The students of Grade 9 have mastered certain vocabularies,expressions and structures. They also have the abilities of self-teaching and working in groups. Most of them are willing to express their opinions in English.2. Analysis of Teaching ContentLesson 49 is the first lesson in Unit 9, Book 5.This unit focus on the subject Communication. Students cares about the subject because it is close to everyone. Lesson 49 mainly talks about how to get along with others in school or at home. 教学目标【知识目标】1. To master the words : unit, misunderstanding, require, communication, hardly, solution, anger, hardly.2. To master the phrases: get along with, be satisfied with, in the open, come to a solution, move on.【能力目标】Improve the students ability of speaking, listening, reading and writing. To learn about how to get along with others.【情感目标】To realize the necessity of getting along with others and the ways of making friends.【教学重点】To master the words and phrases.【教学难点】To learn how to get along with others. 课前准备 Tape recorder, Multimedia 教学过程Step 1. Warm-up1. Show the picture of my friend, let students introduce her.2. Ask students: Do you have good friends? Introduce your friends.3. Free talk: (1) Do you have good relationships with the people in your life?(2) What do you think is most important for a good friendship?Step 2. Presentation1. Explain the words according to the pictures.2. Listen to the tape and tell us what the main ideas of three people. 3. Read and match the people with their statements.4. Check the answers.5. Explain the language points:get along (with) 意为“(与某人)和睦相处”。 e.g. Do you always get along well with your classmates? 你总是跟同学们相处得很好吗?require作及物动词,意为“需要;要求”,它的后面常接名词、代词、v.-ing形式、不定式的复合结构或that从句(从句谓语用“should + 动词原形”,其中should可以省略)。 e.g. These plants require lots of care and attention.这些植物需要悉心照顾。 The pears require washing before eating.梨吃前需要洗一下。 He requires that we (should) work all night.他需要我们整晚都工作。require doing sth.意为“需要(被)” =require to be done。e.g. The bike requires painting. = The house requires to be painted.这辆自行车需要油漆一下。 require可用于被动语态,但不用于进行时态。 e.g. We are required to take part in the meeting.我们需要参加这个会议。It is / was the same with(= So it is / was with) 是表达“也”的一个句型,无论前提是肯定或否定意思都可使用。 I didnt talk much about communication last night. 昨天晚上我没过多地谈论沟通问题。 It was the same with me. So it was with me. / I didnt, either. / Neither did I. 我也是。likely在本句中是形容词, 表示“可能的; 有倾向的”,既可以用人作主语, 也可以用物作主语。e.g. She isnt likely to come now. Its too late.她很可能不会来了, 太晚了。(1) get out在此句中的意思是“使出来”。e.g. Please get the pig out.请把那头猪放出来。 (2) in the open在此句中的意思是“公开地”。e.g. He doesnt dare to act in the open.他不敢公开行动。 in the open还有“在露天(户外、野外)”的意思。e.g. Dont sleep in the open.别在户外睡觉。(3) come to在此句中的意思“得到 (结果)”。e.g. They came to a fight.结果他们打起来了。(4) move on在此处的意思是“更换话题”。e.g. We have talked much about this trouble. Lets move on.对此我们谈得很多了,更换话题吧。hopefully是副词,在句中作状语,能这样用的通常是-ly结尾的副词。e.g. Personally, I think he is a good teacher.就我个人而言,我认为他是个好老师。Step 3. Practice1. Listen and follow to the tape.2. Rewrite the sentences below with the correct forms of the phrases from the lesson.(1)It took them more than an hour to solve the problem.It took them more than an hour to_(2)We had a wonderful time in the park.We had_ in the park. 3. Check the answers.4.
