Im your teacher .2.Lead-in Use everyday expressions for greetings and introductions . The teacher asks one student some questions “ Hi, Im. Whats your name?” Then ask some students to do it again . (about 4 students )3. Practice Let some of the students come to the front, ask and answer in pairs .(about 4 groups )Step 2 Presentation 1. Introducing six new friends T: Now you have many new friends .Do you want to make more new friends ? Show pictures on the blackboard .Let the students look at them . This is Simon. (write greetings on the book .)Step 4 Presentation 1. Use a multimedia to let the students watch the cartoon between Eddie and Hobo. 2. Introduction This is Eddie . This is Hobo . Eddie is Hobos master . Hobo is an e-dog . 3. Ask the students Who is Eddie? (Hes the master .) Who is Hobo ? ( Hes the e-dog) . Do you like Eddie ? Do you like e-dogs ? Introduction (show three pictures of Chinese teacher ,Maths teacher and English teacher with a few self-introduction words below them ) Hi, Im -. Im -years old . Find out the new words, e.g. grade, student, reading, classmate, after school, be good at, get the Ss to read them aloud, pay attention to the pronunciation.5.Ask students to answer questions “What do they like ?” Use the sentences “ -likes doing -.” Step 5 PracticeGet the Ss to have conversations, the teacher may make models like this: ,are you a student?
