Analysis of the StudentsAs we know, the students of Grade 8 are active and show great interest in English learning. In addition, because of the characteristics of their ages and cognition, they are more interested in the topics which have a close connection with their everyday life. They are willing to talk about the books they have read. As a teacher, I try to create relaxing and pleasant language surroundings to encourage every student to participate in all kinds of class activities. I manage to engage students in the learning process to provide opportunities for individual work, pair work, group work that will bring the students initiative into full play. At the same time, the students may develop confidence in themselves. Only in this way, can they do better in English. 2. Learning StrategiesAccording to their psychological characteristics and perceptive experiences, they may learn English autonomously, cooperatively and investigatively under the various situations I created.
