How old is Becky? Whats Beckys hobby? Whats Beckys favourite animal? Do you like me?Step 2 Pre-reading:1、 Talk about the pandas between teacher and students.Ask some questions like :Where is pandas hometown?The panda Abao is in the movie _.The pandas we gave to Taiwan in 2008 were called and_.Panda Panpan is as a mascot in _.2、 Enjoy some pictures to guess the meaning of the new words and phrases. Then check it.Show some pictures about pandas life in Chengdu Research Base ,let the students look at the picture and read the sentences,Then guess the meaning of the new words and phrases.Step 3 While reading:1、 Listen to a piece of the text .Then try to predict what the article mainly talk about. Give students some choices and let them to predict.
