Get to know the relationship of weather and our daily life. And try to take care of family and friends.PresentationLead in/Review1. Introduce two new friends: Judy and Nick. Take a trip to different places.(设计意图:通过情景创设,引入本课两位主人公,从湖南出发去其他省市旅游,了解当地的气候、风景。)2. First station : Harbin Its cold in Harbin. Learn “cold” by phonics: old, bold, hold.Discuss with Ss what we can do in Harbin.Learn “Can I?” by reading,pay attention to the pronunciation of “ Can I ?” Can I watch TV/read a book/ have some soup at home?Make Ss to think of the activities they know.The ice cream is cold.(设计意图:通过主人公Judy旅行的第一站哈尔滨,了解祖国的博大及各地自然景观的差异性,思考当天气寒冷时在室内可以做或者不适合做哪些事情;进一步了解cold的含义。)3. Second station: Sanya Nick goes to Sanya. The weather is different in Harbin. Get to know the weather is different in different places. Its hot in Sanya. Learn “hot” by phonics: dot, pot, lot. When its very hot, we cant go outside. Learn the pronunciation of “outside” Play a card game to practice.(设计意图:通过学习,能够根据天气情况决定生活中可以开展的活动,逐渐熟练重点句型,为自主改编做好铺垫。)4. Be careful!T: The soup is very hot.
